Very nice hotel in the heart of the mountain, just next to the upper station of the gondola. The staff was very polite and helpful. Keep in mind to call them when you are at the barrier, so you don't pay entrance ticket to reach the hotel.

Very nice mountain hotel. The personnel was excellent and very nice, except the maid. The room was a little small for a family of 4 but not a problem at all. Breakfast and dinner were nice and the kitchen staff was also very helpful.

The host very kindly allowed us to pay for the extra services (hot tub, and bottled water) via bank transfer when we forgot to withdraw cash.
Velika Planina is very remote, requiring a cable car and chairlift to access, or 3km hike to access the property, but is well worth it for the views and serenity of the place - this was my wife's favourite spot on our honeymoon to Slovenia/Croatia.
