The hotel is situated right opposite Vadstena castle with a magnificient view. We were upgraded to a superior room, all of which a decorated according to themes. Ours was maritime, which fitted us pretty well. the superior rooms all have their own private entrance and a little terrace. We were surprised by the town of Vadstena with its rich history and lovely situated at the lake Vättern.

This place was magnificent. It is perfect for any traveler, whether solo or with family. Trying to briefly describe this place won't do it justice because it feels like a world of its own within our world. This was a lovely freestanding house in an agricultural area just 5 minutes from the beautiful town on Vadstena. The house had a well-equipped kitchen and was very comfortable for families with kids with multiple bunk beds. There are many good restaurants in the area. You can bring your own linens and towels or rent them for $10 or 100 swedish kroner per guest. You can clean the place yourself (easy) or pay a cleaning fee. It is extremely quiet and peaceful and the owner lives just down the road and is very helpful.
