Our recent stay at Hotel Le Dec de Praslin was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warmth and professionalism from the management and staff, setting the tone for a luxurious experience. The oceanfront rooms were beautifully designed, spotless, and offered breathtaking views that made waking up each morning a dream.
The dining experience was another highlight. The food was simply incredible, with a wide variety of options that catered to every taste. What stood out the most were the dinner buffets, which were never repetitive. Each night brought something new and exciting, showcasing the best of local and international cuisine.
The staff’s politeness and attentiveness were remarkable. They were always on hand to assist with anything we needed, ensuring our comfort throughout the stay. A special mention goes to the hotel management, who were incredibly professional and engaged. The owner himself made it a point to speak with us during dinner almost every evening, adding a personal touch that made our stay feel even more special.
What truly stood out, beyond the luxury, was the hotel’s commitment to sustainability. It was impressive to see how management prioritized eco-friendly practices both within the hotel and in the surrounding areas. They actively contribute to environmental efforts, including the clean-up of a local hiking trail on Praslin. This level of care and responsibility towards the island’s natural beauty made our stay not only luxurious but meaningful.

The hotel is fantastic. The staff are super helpful and the location is really wonderful next to the jetty and with an amazing view from the balcony. The restaurant dinners are really good, better than the restaurants we tried outside so we ended up staying for dinner two nights. The room was big, and clean and with all the amenities that you can need. I could come back to this hotel!

The apartment and the view are perfect. Everything is clean. Connie can book for you activities of restaurant and suggest visits such as fond ferdinand. She is very friendly and shared a papaya from her garden and food from her daughter's birthday.
Accommodation was new and very comfy. Rooms very furnished very nice, and kitchen had all appliances which you might need when you want to cook something (only coffee machine was not working). The host was very helpful and let us to check in earlier. National park Fond Ferdinand is very close so you can just walk there.
