The location is great, almost in the forest, at the end of the road. The road has a fresh coat of asphalt and you can park in front of the accommodation.
You can serve breakfast/lunch/dinner and basically just sit and order at any time on their outdoor terrace or indoor restaurant. The food is great and the service very fast and good.
The staff was always nice and smiling, and accommodated my every request. They even drove me down to pick up my car as I could't drive up because of road work.
Room size was big, beds comfortable and everything was clean.
During the summer you can drive to Pasul Vulcan or take a short hiking trip to Straja or Mutu peak. You can also bike in the area (if you are fit), go blueberry picking or just enjoy the nature.
BONUS: if you are driving an EV, you can safely charge your car at a regular 220V outlet.

The house is modern and clean, located in a very quiet area with beautiful views of the mountains. Very nice weekend retreat.
The host met us at the house with home-made pancakes, very good ones :-)
Everything was as pictured online. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, however just one of them has a shower. The kitchen was well equipped for breakfast.
