Best thing about Bucharest are the parks. There are plenty of them, and they are huge. The Cismigiu park is really nice, and very close to the center. The Herastrau park in the north is huge, and since it's on the way to the airports it 's a very nice place to kill some time before your flight. All the parks are very clean and well maintained, and there are plenty of stalls with ice cream, food and drinks.
