The accommodation was nice and comfortable. The room had enough space and amenities. The hotel is centrally located, though far from touristy locations.
The chef was superb. We took breakfast and informed the chef that we are a bunch of vegetarian Indians and requested if we could have vegetarian options for breakfast. The chef surprised us with Indian dishes in breakfast - pani puri, samosa, chhole, dal, bhindi and rotis. This was beyond amazing gesture. Thank you, Amber Hotel.

I have stayed in this hotel everytime I have returned to Cebu because it’s very very good. Room sizes are perfect. Hairdryer, fridge, kettle, water all provided. The staff are incredible and so friendly, Dea (I think that was his name - works in the foyer) was amazing!! Such a friendly man and so attentive. Very much appreciated his service.

Location close to Colon Street and 7/11. Has lifts and attentive security staff which made you feel safe and looked after. The hotel reception and other staff were also very kind and attentive. Good quality rooms compared to other hotels on the same street.
The location is nice. It is near to Colon Street and Carbon Market, which are interesting for tourists. The facility is nice. I especially liked the swimming pool on the top of the building, on which one can enjoy a nice view on the city too. There are enough malls, shops and restaurants nearby.
I spent here 3 nights, leaving and coming back, between the trips to Bohol and South Cebu. Two nights in the single room and one night in the dorm room.
From the convenient and safe location, a few minutes walk from Colon street, to cleanliness, facilities and stuff (the girls there are amazing, super helpful) all was perfect and I don't even consider staying elsewhere if I'll be back to Cebu.
The free laundry service, drinking water, hairdryer, were great to have. I totally recommend.
This Hostel has just completed a major refurbishment/upgrade. The checkin process was really sooth, and all areas are clean and tidy. The accommodation now also has a cafe on the ground floor for both internal guest and external customers. It is only a 5 min walk from the ferry, 10 minutes away from Colon Street and 10 min from Cebu South Bus Terminal. Whilst this is in the old town, we felt completely safe and would highly recommend guests staying.
