Very basic. Annoying outside light that shone right into room and was so light all night that could not sleep all night. 1 chair in room for 4 people not great.

A relatively sheltered spot that's perfect for swimming, Tahunanui is Nelson City's most popular beach. For families, the stretch has its own park, complete with bumper boats, mini golf and go-karts. It's also home to the Natureland petting zoo, where little ones can discover and interact with a variety of animals, such as Kuni Kuni pigs, deer and monkeys.

Modern clean studio apartment close to Tahunanui beach. Great hosts. Small kitchenette with microwave only but close to local restaurants. Great value and location.
Excellent location by Tahunanui beach. Very comfortable bed. Excellent TV. Availability of pool though we did not have time to use it. Parking right by our unit. Downstairs unit as requested. Very good provision of crockery, glasses, cutlery, toaster, microwave, electric kettle.
Perfect location, within walking distance of the beach and all activities for kids. Being by the Tahunanui beach campsite was an added bonus as we were able to use the playground, play mini golf and ride the bikes (we had to hire them). The Deck Cafe was amazing from the staff to the food.

Excellent location for families being within walking distance to Tahunanui Beach, a BMX park, water slide and gocarts. The holiday park itself has mini golf, a jumping cushion and playground.
We spent one night in Nelson, Tides Hotel located centrally in city, downtown shops and restaurants 5-10 minutes walk. Hotel has a nice restaurant and bar overlooking adjacent Maitai River. Immediate access to Maitai River Walkway, which leads to the Marina in one direction and lovely countryside in the other, excellent for walking or jogging. Tahunanui Beach a little far to walk.
Good range of options for breakfast. Very welcoming and friendly hosts. Location very convenient for access to town, Tahunanui beach and Abel Tasman national park.
