I like the convenience of the room I was in being on the bottom floor and the parking spot for my vehicle right outside the sliding door to be able to pack and unpack luggage

Room quality, staff friendliness, hotel facilities
Excellent location, walkable to the seaboard walk and library and Puke Ariki Museum and shops. Plenty of car parking. Good value rate. Room was a little tight and upstairs. I would ask for a downstair room next time. Got nice thai meal at the local restaurant precinct. Was a three minute walk.
Our Hosts went to extra lengths to provide for our need for gluten free breakfast and make sure we had what we needed. Very welcoming and helped to carry our bags up the stairs as we are an older couple. The studio was well serviced each day and very clean. The location is great for cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, and city shipping and a moderate walk to Puke Ariki, The Wind Wand and the waterfront walkway, and also to Pukekura Park
We had a big, modern room with comfy chairs, a wonderful bed, and the best shower water pressure we've found on the North Island. The wifi worked well, and the ceiling fan was good for keeping the room cool at night. The hotel's location is unbeatable: across the street from the seafront walk, next to the terrific Puke Ariki museum, and a few blocks from the restaurant strip on Devon Street. We were lucky to snag one of the limited parking spaces in the hotel's lot, so we left the car there and went all over town on foot.
Fantastic central location - great for our small family. Secure carparking, A lift meant no dragging cases up the stairs, stunning views. Just around the corner from Puke Ariki and within 100m of the Len Lye Gallery. Plenty of dining options within easy walking distance. Great kitchen too if you wanted to dine in.
