Location and style of the hotel was awesome. Really enjoyed the lounge area and the friendly staff. Complimenatry drinks at happy hour was a great touch, as were the complimentary items in the room. Have stayed at Naumi in Auckland and it was not a nice experience at all!! Glad we tried Queenstown - it made up for the disappointment in Auckland.

Everything is precisely thought and the service is one of the best i have ever seen. The room is amazing and huge, with a lot of top tier details. The complimentary amenities at the room and the afternoon drinks and canapes is the icing on the cake. i also loved the indian-african restaurant from the hotel. The location is the best in town.

We dis a great evening cruise on the TSS Earnslaw, crossing Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak High Country Farm for an evening BBQ. Not cheap but a wonderful experience. The boat is a 100 year old steamship. Walter Peak is a traditional sheep station, the farmstead is lovely, the gardens stunning and the sheep sheering demonstration really work seeing.

The location of the Novotel is simply unbeatable. Nestled right on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, the views are nothing short of breathtaking. Every morning, I woke up to stunning vistas of the mountains and the tranquil lake, which set the perfect tone for the day. Its proximity to the city center made it easy to explore local shops, restaurants, and attractions without needing a car.

Stunning views watching the sunrise every morning over Lake Wakatipu from the bedroom or the balcony. The under floor heating was amazing. The entire property was just great. Simple decor and everything you would need in the kitchen. Beds were super comfortable, no complaints about anything. It was quiet. Only about 5min into town. Close to all shops and amenities we needed.
The bottle of wine on arrival was a great touch!
