The lodge was fantastic. Parking was generous and we particularly enjoyed the ambiance of the lodge with the fireplace and turn down service each day. The bathroom was also generously sized.

Great location - quite close to Cardrona ski area and in the scenic valley. The room was very warm and pretty comfortable for three of us. It also was cleaned every day which is quite uncommon for NZ service. The kitchenette provided extra opportunities for heating/cooking some simple meals. Great bar/restaurant in the hotel (best Beef Wellington I ever tried). Proper wifi.
What a treat staying at the Cardrona Hotel! We have passed through and stopped in for a beer on numerous trips but this time decided to stay and we’re so glad we did. We got the Captsins Room and it was so cozy! We had the most delicious meal at the restaurant - we had the seafood chowder, veal and rib eye - couldn’t fault any of it. Staff absolutely a delight, so friendly and accommodating. We can’t wait to stay again
Cardrona hotel is a lovely oasis with a short drive to Wānaka it suited us perfectly. Our room was fresh, clean cosy and comfortable. That evening we had a suburb meal in the restaurant which was absolutely delicious.
Beautiful place and lovely hosts. Breakfast was also delicious. Decided on an early dinner at Cardrona hotel as I was tired from cycling all day and Anne, the hostess offered to drive me there and pick me up after dinner.

Dinner at The Cardrona Hotel was excellent. The food was delicious especially the Beef Wellington.
Our apartment was beautiful. It was 100 m up the road from the pub and brand new. Very comfortable and well equipt and styled.
