Wow what a nice hotel. It truly feels and looks like a 5 star hotel. It was super clean and the rooms were quiet which made it feel like I was at home in my own comfort. There is a restaurant at the bottom and I highly recommend it. The chef is French and it honestly shows in the passion he puts in each plate. Great place overall

We have visited Christchurch Botanical Gardens twice now on...
We have visited Christchurch Botanical Gardens twice now on two different trips to the area. It is a very large garden with lots of beautiful plants to see and the river makes everything even more beautiful. There is a large car park available so look out for this. On our first visit we didn't realise and struggled to find parking on the street.

Exceptional spot! Rooms are impeccable and comfortable. There is an evening wine hour, if desired and the breakfast is hearty and tasty. The House is beautifully maintained and decorated, within walking distance to museums, restaurants and the botanical gardens. The staff are friendly and helpful with suggestions and were very accommodating with some of our individual travel needs. Highly recommend! Would most definitely book again!

The woman at the reception was very welcoming. The room was clean, spacious, and with nice furniture and wall-decorations. The kitchenette was small but had everything we needed, and the bathroom was simply as it should be. The center of Christchurch was about 15 minutes walk away, and there were plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. There was also a large park with botanical gardens nearby, which we enjoyed very much.

Nice basic breakfast selection in airy room with potential to be outside at altitude. Hotel in a perfect location inside the arts complex and close to botanical gardens.
The location is great in that the Botanical Gardens are literally right across the street, eateries and shops within very reasonable walking distance. Clean room & bathrooms. Kitchen had ample refrigerators and a freezer, cook tops etc Very friendly and serviceable staff. It looked more like a fancy hotel then a hostel.
Small but comfortable room located perfectly in the north of Christchurch. We were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. Plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance as well as the Botanical gardens.
Very cosy motel close to a park. After short walk through the park there are the botanical gardens. Whenever we go to Christchurch, we always try to stay in this motel. Lena and Peter are very friendly people.
The motel is position well for Hagley park and Botanical gardens, also close to Christchurch city and Ricaarton.
The room was well appointed with a good TV with reasonable selection of channels with Netflix and YouTube. Great WIFI speed and easy to connect.
The bed was comfy and a great shower.
