Fantastic location. Really enjoyed watching all the boats in the evening - river trips, rowers etc. Close to city centre but quiet in the evenings. Loved the facilities in the studio - easy to eat there in the evenings if you don’t fancy going out again. Great host - a few nice welcoming things there on arrival - wine, fruit, milk in the fridge etc. Really enjoyed my stay.

Reservation went smoothly and I like when parking is free and it was. After 22:00u you can't use the elevator in the parking lot to the main hall. My husband has a bad knee, so it was nice we could park on entrance level.

Staff lovely especially Lucy who checked us in.
Had a lovely room overlooking the canal. The room is an average size and bathroom is small but this didn't bother us as it's very functional. Also everything is very clean.
Just one thing to be aware of... if you get a train from Schiphol Airport to Utrecht Central you then have to get a train from Utrecht Central - Platform 15 - to Vaartsche Rijn. It's only 1 stop.
Moxy is just across from the VR train station.
Situated in a lovely area with lovely canal walks.
I'd highly recommend a stay here and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else on my return to Utrecht.
