I did a full week surf camp and loved it, so extended my stay with 1 day. The surf classes are amazing and the food is absolutely delicious (they cater to vegetarians and vegans as well). The pool is fun and cleaned regularly. The facilities are OK.

The water slide, pools. and diving area were incredible. Food was excellent with good options. Breakfast was excellent. Loved the location nestled away in nature. Grounds are stunning. And of course the "standard king room" is a full size suite / 1 bedroom apt!

The staff was very friendly ! The bed sheets and to have curtains !! Not all guesthouses or hotel have curtains for the bunk bed. It’s a plus for the privacy.

The BVSC is amazing ! This little hidden paradise is so peaceful with only good vibes, and the view from the deck is just incredible . Playa Maderas sunset is one of a kind 🌟 and watching the stars from the deck => WAHOO

We had a fantastic time at Hostel Clandestino!
The place has a very relaxed and chilled vibe, so I totally recommend it if you're open-minded and chilled. The staff is great and very helpful if you have any questions. It's only a 5-8 minute walk from beautiful Playa Maderas and is beautifully set upon a hill overlooking the scenery. I'd definitely stay here again when coming back to Nicaragua.
Beautifully located, relaxed yet luxurious property 5 minutes walk from playa maderas. Breakfast was amazing and enjoyed the options of family dinner, yoga and a great surf lesson. The wildlife on the property was amazing.
