Very comfortable, spacious room, AC which we really needed in Hot Leon. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice, choice of pancakes or nica breakfast. We used their cheap same day laundry service. Less than 10 minutes from central plaza. Overall would definitely recommend!

Power to the city went out for about one hour…only a few businesses actually had a back-up generator and/or candles but everyone seemed to take it in stride.

Beautiful, historic and young student city.
Beautiful, historic and young student city. Wish I stayed longer here! Museum of the Revolution explained the history and context of Leon so well, would highly recommend. Try some street food too like elote! The atmosphere is the city was the nicest in all of Nicaragua.

The old part of town is a quaint colonial place with a lot of restaurant options; I recommend the small food tour offered to see the market and learn about the different fruits and dishes. The location is perfect for a quick visit to the beaches that are less than 30 minutes away, you can catch a taxi easily there.

Cathedral is a trip of its own.
Cathedral is a trip of its own. Walking on the rooftops, and also try to visit the catacombs. Going down the cero Negro volcanoes is fun just a 30 min hike up. Nearby beaches are nice clean not crowded with plenty of activities to do.

Very beautiful. The very best thing about Nicaragua was the People. So kind and amazing.
Other places I visited Backpackers Inn Boutique Hostel in Granada. Lus was amazing. The rooms are beautiful and Quiet. Excellent breakfast.
The staff at La Posada del Doctor was also so wonderful, specifically Melissa, Christian and Christian’s Mother who cooked us a wonderful breakfast.

If you have time, take a day trip to the Flor de Cana Rum Factory, only 45 minutes outside the city to the north. You have to schedule it .
Perfect place to stay in León. Hotel and hostel in the town center, spacey and clean private room with bathroom (AC for additional charge), shared facilities such as well equipped kitchen, beautiful inner garden or "library". Also other things make the stay pleasant (recycling, safety instructions...). Very friendly owners Roger and Selena, but all staff I have met, too. Limited private parking available, but not necessary, ok to park on the street.
The spot was a lovely hostel, more chill and quiet than others in the area making it good for a more relaxing Leon trip. The staff at the spot were very friendly and very helpful with organising tours and shuttles as well as recommending places to visit and places to eat in the city. The rooms were very clean and every bed came with a person fan which was very much needed in the heat, the rooms are also cleaned every day.
Lovely accommodation and good value for money. Our room was a good size, it was clean and had a comfortable bed. Most importantly it had air-conditioning which is essential in Leon! Our hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating and even helped us with laundry for a small cost. The included breakfast was a nice touch.
Nice central place in León.
Perfect for budget travelers, but in comparison, we paid less money for better rooms and places in León. Still, I don't have bad comments about the place, except for the pool.
They let us use plates and utensils which was nice of them. Coffee and hot water offered in the morning.
The hotel is very close to the city center. Wifi is good. The area is very safe. The host is exceptional. My girlfriend was sick and the owner even heard her being sick and in the midde of the night made her a drink to calm her stomach and gave her fresh water and some pills to stop the major pains.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Decent size room with all you need for a short-term stay. The location is great, however, at night it gets noisy as there are some bars very close by. I would nevertheless recommend this place, a great option for staying in Leon!

Loved the peacefulness of this place. It’s a bit outside León but very easy to flag down a taxi into town. The staff are delightful and very willing to help at any point. Staying in the bungalow was a fun experience.
