Good, but what an effort to get there, about 2 hr drive from Xpujil, and then back again. Worth visiting but don’t overlook visiting Becan & Chicano which are light relief in comparison, but both exceptional sites for ruins and for nature.

Wonderful quiet location with pretty colored cabanas and gardens on a family property on the edge of a charming town walking distance from the incredible Becan ruins and excellent driving distance to the famous Calakmul ruins and bar cave.
The owner and his father were really friendly and he was very helpful with our questions about getting to Calakmul, etc. I really really liked the owner Roque. He was so nice!
