Fantastic little campsite in the middle of the Sri Lankan bush, only accessible by 4WD. Head in here and feel the serenity. With just the two tents it's a small, perfectly formed operation run by the wonderful host Nero, who not only looks after your every need but whips up amazing meals in his little camp kitchen, served on a table under the stars, with a bonfire to complete the magic.
Set in Yala, 1.6 km from Kirinda Beach, Wild Culture Yala offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

Excellent and beyond friendly service. Meals were great and all activities offered by the camp were the best we have experienced in Sri Lanka! We would truly recommend Yakaduru to our friends. Nishantha was a great host to us. When we arrived a traditional lunch was served to us along with a surprise dinner on a scenic rock near our room.

The warmest welcome from all staff, including the resort manager and Prince, the head of staff training. Our safari guide Avinka was the most knowledgeable and remarkable person. His tour of Yala was an incredible experience, we are so grateful for his expertise. The high tea, cocktails on the point and dinner were absolutely outstanding. The most attentive staff made for a truely wonderful experience. Thank you for having us to stay. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

We visited Yala for two days (with two separate game drives - one evening and one morning one) and although we enjoyed the animals we observed, we did not have any sightings of leopards despite being the national park with the highest concentration in the world. But that is nature so we were just unlucky on those days. However, the most disappointing aspect of Yala was the sheer number of vehicles allowed into the park at one time. As soon as elephants or leopards are sighted, drivers communicate among themselves and vehicles all rush to the scene creating a massive traffic jams. This makes it feel very mass market and doesn’t seem very respectful of the wildlife

Terrible time. No wild animals as expected.
Terrible time. No wild animals as expected. Roads are all around the jungle which is pretty disturbing to the wild life. After all it is supposed to be a protected zone for wild life. Jeeps are crawling every corner of the territory. Amused to see all of that disturbing scenes in a wild life protected zone. It's like business zone. Poor animals.

I loved Yala.
I loved Yala. The number of different animals seen was slightly disappointing but apparently wash outs due to rain prevented us from accessing some internal roads. The sunrise and scenery were stunning. I would rate it as good value despite the lack of animals. The whole experience was wonderful.

The national park in Yala is beautiful however it is hard to drive around as the roads are poorly maintained. There is a large populatin of birds and i think this safari would suit bird watchers more than those who want to see the elephants. The 6am -6pm safari is too long.
Sigiriya is far superior when it comes to large herds of elephants.

The hike in the nature reserve was amazing, we saw lots of amazing animals and landscapes.
Were lucky and we were able to meet the tiger as well.
It is important to note that the trip should take drinks and food, the hotel staff where we were did not tell us the length of the trip and did not make sure to let us know that we should take care of ourselves.
Of course we were smarter and brought with us the necessary equipment ..
But there were those next to us who did not and that was unfortunate

We stayed at Laya Beach resort which was very beautiful and was very close to our safari's which made our stay even better.
The beach, however, was too rough to swim which was a little disappointing.
Everything about this hotel was excellent. The location amid the Yala National Park is ideal for any wildlife enthusiast. The Staff is very attentive and friendly and their service was beyond expectations. The food was superb (Kudos to the chef) and had a very good Variety. The hotel Naturalists has very good knowledge about the wildlife in Yala and would definitely recommend going on a Safari with them. Overall the experience at Cinnamon wild was away beyond our expectations and would definitely go again whenever we can.
We had the most magnificent stay at Hilton Yala. Everything was perfect. You could really see that the hotel was newly built, everything in the room was perfect and designed to perfection and the rooms are very spacious. The personal was also super helpful and very friendly and catered all of our wishes. We even had the chance to see an elephant only a few meters away while we were laying on the pool and he entered the property which was amazing! Would definitely go back immeadiately.
The Hilton Yala was a very unique state of the art property in the middle of a National Park!
The hotel grounds, pool, architecture, and overall layout were stunning and something we haven’t experienced before.
However what made this one of the most memorable experience for us is the amazing and ever smiling staff right from the reception, kitchen, and room service staff.
Their executive chef was always there smiling and greeting the guests which made this super special!
The most special 2 days spent at Kulu safaris -if you are ever doing a safari in Yala National Park these are the only guys to go with!
Fabulous location next to the park ,amazing game drives with the most gorgeous staff that are so highly trained in wildlife ,best food I've had in Sri Lanka set up at different beautiful settings around the camp site and, fabulous cabins
We were treated like one of the family
Yakaduru exceeded all my expectations! Would happily recommend this to anyone and would stay again. The property is lovely, the location is amazing, the staff (especially Nishantha) were incredible and so was the food! Having a team that also provides tours of the Yala national park is great, makes the whole experience seamless! If you are wanting to experience Yala I would highly recommend Yakduru
Huge villa with an immersive jungle experience! The villa has a beautiful and unique interior, including a real tree, and has great views (I spotted an elephant from the rooftop!). The staff was extremely helpful, accommodating, and friendly. They repeatedly went out of their way to make sure we had the best possible experience. The amazing staff really made this hotel stand apart from others.
Omg what an incredible man place to stay! Felt so special, the hotel has only 3 rooms so it felt very private. The staff was amazing and the food was incredible! We had such a great vegetable rice and curry and good breakfast. The rooms were wonderful!
They organise a safari to yala for us, and we saw a leopard, elepants, crocodiles, buffalos, innumerable birds! It was wonderful!
Everything! It was the most extraordinary stay of our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. Tribe Yala went completely above and beyond in every way - it was a honeymoon-worthy experience! The whole team were unbelievably generous, kind and helpful - we were so well looked after and felt completely safe at all times, which was particularly appreciated as we were in the middle of the national park!
The tents were super comfortable and clean. The atmosphere was so nice, pitch dark at night with fireflies all around. There are peacocks, all kinds of birds, cows, dogs in the hotel perimeter, kids enjoyed a lot. Dinner (bbq) and breakfast was good and filling. It is approx 25 min away from Yala National park entrance, so it is convenient.
This place is perfect if you want to do Yala safaris. We arranged ours through the hotel and was great fun and good value. The room was clean and comfortable with lovely views out across the surrounding countryside. The refreshing welcoming drinks were a great touch. There's an amazing restaurant 5 minutes walk called The Flavour.
Leopard Nest in Yala perfectly blends luxury and nature. The well-appointed roms provide modern amenities with a safari feel. Attentive staff, thrilling guided safaris, and delicious meals under the stars make it a memorable stay. Ideal for nature lovers seeking comfort in Yala National Park. Highly recommended!
the rooms were spacious, the food was delicious, the staff was wonderful...the experience of "glamping" in the national park surrounded by nature and no walls was quite exciting. The safari was fun, the food provided was great, and we had a BBQ night which exceeded our expectations.
Its a beautiful villa very close to yala national park. It was comfortable and clean and exceeded our expectations.. would definitely recommend the host and staff for a wonderful stay . We booked a safari as well at a bargain rate through the host

Rooms were outstanding - spacious and felt like a home away from home. Beautiful pool. Staff delightful and went out of their way to help. The hotel organised two safaris for us. Food and drinks also extremely tasty.
Amazing luxury villa in tune with nature. Open air shower was great and so were the trees growing in the villa. Staff are top rate and speak good English. Food also excellent. Ideal for Yala safaris !
