I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Mura during my visit to Pyeongchang for the 2024 GangWon Winter Youth Olympic Games in January 2024. I must say that my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the hotel's prime location to the warm and genuine hospitality, everything exceeded my expectations.
Firstly, the location of the hotel was simply perfect. Situated in the heart of Pyeong Chang town, it offered easy access to all the major attractions and landmarks. A simply 5 minutes drive will arrive the Pyeong Chang Winter Olympic Museum.
From the moment I walked into the hotel, I was greeted with a warm welcome and made to feel right at home.
The reception staff was incredibly helpful and provided valuable information about the city. They were always available to answer any questions or assist with any requests, making the overall experience truly personalized and enjoyable.
The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. It had all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.

The facilities for kids were great. The food was out of this world and I mentioned this to the chef at breakfast.
Terrace on the Cloud is located in Daegwallyeong and offers self-catering units with a terrace and free WiFi. A continental breakfast is available each morning at the holiday home.

Very friendly owner. Gives good tips for restaurants. Blackout curtains would make it even better.
The rooms are spacious with ski slope view. Location is next to Alpensia Ski Resort. Lots of restaurants and convenient stores around (like a small village). There are activities for kids. Also had basement parking which is good especially when it snows. You get 30% discount on ski lift and gear rentals when staying here. Would definitely come back.
It is well located near the slopes but you only need one day at Alpensia ski resort as there are very few slopes so staying at the neighbouring ski resort probably would have made more sense for us but we had a car so it wasn’t much of an issue. Room was large with lots of storage. Breakfast has many options.
