Nice view and nice insta photo spots.

Nice view and nice insta photo spots. Tip 1: Take the 1st batch of the day. It will be little crowd and you can have plenty space and time to take photo. The staff will not chase you out. Tip 2: Alternatively, can choose between evening and spare about 2 hours to experience day view and night view.

The decision to do the galleria (combo) was somewhat difficult. To justify the additional cost, and after reading reviews that suggested buildings become blurry at that height. I can confirm that although impressive at 450 meters, it did not feel more special than at 350 meters. The definition of the city became diminished at that height. However, the separate elevator did add to the experience. If you are likely to get FOMO, just book the combo (if not, you will pay a premium there). If you cannot justify paying more than necessary to enter - take comfort knowing your aren't missing out on too much.

Tokyo Skytree has the highest observation decks in the city, but that is basically all. It can become very crowded and it is quite far from most interesting places. I enjoyed the outdoor observation platform of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower much more for example and other nice observation decks are even free.

Well worth a visit - day or night this place is perfect.

Well worth a visit - day or night this place is perfect. We went both in the morning, then came back at night to see Tōkyō in lights. Pay the extra cost for the 450m access - the views are spectacular. Keep an eye out for the lifts - we saw all 4, a beautiful touch to the experience.

Plan more time for this attraction - there is an exhibition area on the 5th floor with hi-tech and local exhibits and shops, there is also a nice food hall. Luckily I had time to mooch around and enjoy a lot of the parts of this building, not only the obligatory visit to the highest viewing point in Tokyo. As magnificent as this is (and there is a fine dining Japanese restaurant there that might be worth while your evening), I equally enjoyed exploring the other parts of the building, especially the DoCoMo show and the Sumida City special traditional crafts court.

The staff was really nice always welcoming and seeing me off at the entrance. The room I was at was exceptional specially when I had view to Tokyo Skytree. The free breakfast was really good aswell. I could go on foot basically anywhere in a good time which is perfect for people who want to save a bit of money on trains.

We loved the location, within short walking distance of Senso-ji and Tokyo Skytree, as well as close to transportation. It was wonderful to have our tea on the balcony overlooking the Skytree. The partially open-air bath was beautiful. The breakfast was excellent, particularly the Japanese one.

Very spacious room. I liked the location being close to Senso-ji & Tokyo Skytree & the Matsuchiyamashoten Park right behind. I could imagine that the hotel rooftop would have a wonderful view of the sakura when in full bloom. Quiet neighborhood.

Very convenient location to Sensō-ji and Asakusa Shrine as well as an entrance to the subway just a few steps outside the front door. Like the other APA hotels I stayed at during my 2 week trip, while it was compact, it provided all the necessary amenities. The room even had a view of the top of the Tokyo Skytree and a portion of the river.

    - Location was great in my opinion. Not too far from Sensoji Temple, Tokyo Skytree, and it's surroundings, but far enough to be away from ALL the crowd. - Staff members were helpful and attentive, especially the housekeeping. - There's atleast two train stations near the hotel, Kuramae sta (Oedo Line) and Asakusa sta (Asakusa line, Ginza line, etc). - Tons of convenience store and restaurants near the hotel.

Their customer service was great and the staff were always very helpful and welcoming. It was a welcome change from the staff less hotels we stayed in throughout our trip. Since they were so responsive and had such helpful tips on how to enjoy the surrounding area, it made us feel more at ease during our stay. Asakusa and the JR Ueno station were both a comfortable walking distance away, which was extremely convenient and saved us a few train stops. Also, the view of Tokyo Skytree as we walked through the streets was beautiful!
