Fantastic hotel; the rooms are a good size by Japanese standards with great facilities for cooking and doing laundry. The room size and facilities were especially good for us travelling as a young family, but would also be great for those travelling as a group who would like to pack lighter and have the option of doing semi/full self-catering.
The location was great - 5 minute walk to the train/bus station with a lovely park opposite. There are loads of convenience stores, supermarkets and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk from the hotel so you can easily enjoy eating out or easily do self-catering. Kasai station is great for getting into Tokyo - approx 25 minutes to Ueno/Akihabara/Tokyo station and approx 45 - 60 minutes to Shinjuku and West Tokyo. Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Sealife Centre are a short bus ride away directly from Kasai bus station (next to train station).
The staff at the hotel were lovely - they were always happy to help out. The staff have English language menus and instructions for those who don't speak Japanese and they were happy to try and translate on the fly for anything else. I speak Japanese, so it wasn't an issue for us but I noted when we arrived and they didn't realise I speak Japanese they made a lot of effort to make us feel welcome and informed in English before they realised we could switch to Japanese.

It was connected to the train station. The lawsons is convenient. Love that you can help yourself to amenities. It was spacious. The shower was awesome!

The property was lovely and was close to some shopping districts and playground areas within the vicinity. My 3 year old son particularly liked their complimentary stuffs, mini library (near the front desk) and the kids buffet section.

Everything. Beautiful structure. Aesthetically pleasing. Light and airy room, generous size, big balcony facing Tokyo Bay, super clean room, towels. It made everything easy for us. Lawson at the ground floor. I cannot think of one thing I didn’t like. The staff members were all polite, helpful, friendly. I like that the hotel was quiet even though there were a lot of cute kids there (Disney being next door). I love running along Tokyo Bay. I love the onsen.
Check in and check out were a breeze.
Mitsui Garden Hotel reflected the traits I deeply admire in the Japanese people: polite, pristine, punctual.

Very clean and rooms are big enough for a family of 4. Staff are also very friendly and helpful. They have a Lawson in the hotel, so that was very convenient.
