The hotel features private parking, various cafes, restaurants and shops on site, as well as free WiFi access in all areas.

After staying in smaller rooms before and after Osaka, this luxury hotel was such a dream stay for us. We couldn’t have had any better accomodation for ease of access to enjoy Universal Studios. Could not recommend highly enough. Just metres away from the train station on foot to the Hotel. Gorgeous view over the city and water. Terrific shops and food (including good coffee - Tully’s) just nearby. It was honestly perfect!

FAQs about hotels in Osaka

A Stronghold of Japanese Culture

At the meeting point of river and sea, huge Osaka combines forward-thinking development and sure-footed tradition. This is symbolised in its temple-like, 16th century castle, guarded by ramparts and enlivened by vibrant spring cherry blossom. Dominating the surrounding skyline is Osaka Business Park, a reminder of the city’s strong role in the Japanese economy.

However, the most striking skyscraper is the Umeda Sky Building - 2 towers connected by a rooftop terrace offering far-reaching views. The nearby Osaka and Umeda train stations are linked by underground shopping centres, while the shops of Shinsaibashi’s America Village appeal to a younger crowd. Dōtonbori’s neon lights promote more shops, as well as restaurants considered the best in Osaka. In a city touted as Japan’s culinary capital, that’s quite an accolade.

The Tsūtenkaku tower overlooks Tennōji Park, home of the Osaka Municipal Museum of Art. Another nearby park houses Shitennō-ji, one of Japan’s oldest Buddhist temples.

The Kyocera Dome Osaka is a shrine of baseball, and more thrills are at waterfront Universal Studios Japan, the country’s 2nd largest theme park. Also by the sea is Kansai International Airport, on its own artificial island.

The capsule hotel was invented in Osaka, and alongside this type of accommodation, Booking.com also offers luxury hotels with pools, cheap hostels and traditional ryokans.

Locals are very friendly, we got helped by an old man because we were lost and he showed us the way to the subway, the system about Icoca card and was truely an amazing person ! He stayed with us at least 15min, showing us around the station. I will never forget him ! Overall, Osaka exceeded my expectation and we were very happy to walk around the city. The hotel location is great.

The hotel location is great. You are right across the street from two large department stores and designer brands like LV. There is a metro station in the basement as well as some restaurants and a boutique. It's a couple of blocks from Shinasaibashi Dori and about a 12 minute walk to Dotonburi. Hotel staff is very helpful and welcoming.

Great location in the middle of Dotonbori, lots of shops, bars and restaurants in the area. Also located in between Namba and Nippombashi stations, which both have various lines serving them. Check in was seamless and the staff member was really friendly and helpful - also provided extra pillows which we had asked for. Room was clean and decent sized by Japanese standards. Pretty modern hotel with sufficient power points and USB charging ports. Overall, good value for what you get, especially if looking to stay around Dotonbori.

The location was great with a convenient store right round the corner. There were also restaurants around the area. The beds were comfy and we had a good rest at FL Dotonbori. It is also just right next to the Kinentsu Nippombashi station which is 1 stop away from Namba, and also walking distance to shinsabashi. They had breakfast available every morning which took the stress of finding a breakfast location away. Would definitely book this hotel again when i'm back at Osaka.

Very attentive and helpful staff, grand hotel atmosphere, old-fashioned in a good way. The quietest night sleep i ever had in a japanese hotel, no trains, no busy street, good noise insulation. Comfortable beds and especially pillows which are often too hard for me in Japan. Distance to the Osaka Loop Line is actually pretty short, Sakuranomiya station has just two tracks, no wandering around inside the station.

Clean, modern hotel. We had a huge room for Osaka with a table. Thank you for the very quiet room on 13th floor, end of hallway. We purchased the breakfast buffet for just one am. Spouse and I enjoyed the nightly happy hour ( wine and snacks). Spouse also enjoyed the nightly ochazuke buffet. I loved the Japanese facial samples at lobby. Great value hotel! One of my favourite hotels we stayed in during our time in Japan. This hotel had a nice reception area with amenities to use for free. The onsen was also a nice bonus to visit at the end of the day and relax. We also liked the rooms and had enough space for the two of us and our suitcases. the room was bigger than most of hotels in japan. it was clean and good facilities. It is close to osaka umeda station, where you can find many restaurants in the floor B1.

Room is big compared to other hotels that we have stayed in Japan. Will definitely choose this hotel again when we are back in Osaka
