The best thing about this hotel is the onsen. While it is small and not as famous as other places, it’s convenient to have one to relax and wash yourself after a long day of enjoying your vacation. There was also free ice cream and yakult along with the onsen.

While other hotels we stayed in felt like tourist hotels, this one felt a bit more like a business traveler hotel. The room was large and the amenities were great -- especially the basket to carry towels, etc. to the onsen. The location was also fabulous -- right by the train/bus station making it easy for us to get around.
Just a 1-minute walk from Mishima Train Station, Hotel Shoumeikan offers Japanese-style as well as Western rooms. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.
