The family room was spacious for a family of four and the bunk beds were comfortable! the mini kitchenettes in the room was also helpful if you need to boil some eggs and/cook noodles late at night! The heating switch in the bathroom also allowed us to dry the laundry.
Although the premise provides paid parking directly outside it's door for 15k Yen per car per day (with unlimited number of entrances and exits), you can make use of the public parking lot directly next to the hotel (maximum cap is only 500Yen for parking from 8pm to 8am) if you are out for most of the day and will only be returning at night to park.

The top floor onsen is wonderful. it is small but very relaxing. Can feel the breeze at the outdoor onsen.

Good hotel, convenient location and easy access from Kumamoto station. The room was clean, with every facilities necessary for a short stay, like we did.
The hotel is walking distance to Kumamoto Castle, which was a major selling point for us. It’s an easy tram ride from Kumamoto station. We had a King double - the bed was big and comfy, we had ample space for our luggage, and we could see the castle out our little window. You can choose between Japanese and Western breakfast set menu - we had one of each and bother were decent and filling!
The location of the hotel was very good. It was close to the Kumamoto castle, Kumamoto station, shopping center etc, so we could walk there. The room was very clean. Big kumamon (Big bear character stuff animal) welcomed us. We enjoyed staying there.

Hotel is located right beside JR Kumamoto station and very convenient for travelers arriving by Shinkansen. Hotel looks new and designed like a luxury hotel. The room we got was larger than usual Japanese standards which was great for our larger suitcases.
The staff is very friendly and the location is convenient for Kumamoto station (10 minutes walk or 3 min by tram). There’s a tram stop just 2min walk from the hotel that takes you to Kumamoto Castle, Museums, Parks and shopping mall. The room for two was spacious with a double bed and a beautiful view from 21st floor to Hiroshima Castle!
Location - 1 stop away from the Kumamoto station by a street train. Very historic and Japanese facility. Recommended for whoever wishes to experience something unique. The room is concise/compact (good for a single-traveler), and everything was approachable from a bed space.
The location is amazing, right outside Kumamoto station. Bed was very comfy, everything in the building was modern and clean, and has coin laundry and pre-check-in baggage storage on premise. Great value and a surprising amount of privacy for a hostel (you have space to keep your luggage and change clothes beside your bed, with a door you can lock).
The "traditional" room that I had booked was tidy, and the bed was quite comfortable. The breakfast buffet, while limited in options, was delicious. The hotel is located between two tram stops, allowing for easy transportation around the city, and is a ten-minute walk from Kumamoto Station.
