The location is very convenient, just behind Hakodate station and just across the Asaichi morning market. The room is a good size as we booked the twin room and it has 2 large single beds. The hotel also has a public bath on the top floor. Enjoyed the bath!
The location is fantastic, walking distance from Hakodate station. The morning market is right in front of the hotel and you can find nice food there. The Brick warehouse and Hakodate ropeway is not too far.
Pretty easy walk from Hakodate station. The host was really nice. I had a room to myself but I could see it getting cramped with suitcases if there were 3 other people but that’s what you get when you stay at a hostel.

This hotel was the second APA i stayed at and it was still really good value for money. All the way on the northern island of japan it was in a really good location just 5-10 mins away from Hakodate station and had many places nearby that you could go to eat or drink at. There was also a tram stop right outside so it would be easy to get around the city as well.
The room was bigger than most hotels we stayed in Japan which was great. Staff members were helpful and polite. Great location with water front and nice shops within walking distance. (Note - it is a good 20 minutes walk from the Hakodate station)
good size room for Japan. New hotel adjacent to JR Hakodate station. exceptionally clean hotel with Onsen on 2nd floor, breakfast was very good with a wide variety of dishes. easy access to train and sightseeing buses and able to walk down to morning fish markets and busy restaurant area

4. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
5. It's reachable by public buses (95, 95A and 96) from/to Hakodate station.
6. Dinner was awesome. The varieties were beyond expectation. They even served free-flow crabs.
7. Breakfast was great as well. It's better than any hotels I've ever stayed around the globe.
8. Amenities were all provided in the room (unlike other hotels in Japan these days).
