Excellent location in the center of Rome. All the main attractions of the city are within walking distance - the Colosseum, St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo, the Pantheon and much more. Polite, friendly staff, always ready to help. A nice addition to the hotel is the 24-hour open observation deck on the 7th floor (roof of the hotel), as well as the bar located there, where it was nice to sit in the evenings, drink a cocktail and admire the city at night. We also liked the delicious breakfasts and the cleanliness of the hotel. Great place!

The Vatican
The world’s smallest state is also one of its most attraction-packed spots. As the centre of the Catholic Church, Vatican City is chock-full of awe-inspiring religious architecture and artistic treasures. Must-sees include the imposing St Peter’s Basilica – so vast that the Statue of Liberty could fit comfortably under its dome – and the mesmerising frescoes of the Sistine Chapel.

Is it a visit that will be remembered for a lifetime!! starting by the St. Peter’s Piazza and how impressive it is and how welcoming, until you go to Saint Peter’s Cathedral and climb to the roof and dome. Exceptional experience!! Even when we were waiting in the queue for our turn to enter, we couldn’t get bored. The exuberance and richness around us was unbelievable.

Make sure you know how much of the city you want to see (e.g. Sistine Chapel, garden, etc). Arrange as early a tour as you can to reduce the crowds and beat the heat. An umbrella is a good idea as you might be in the sun at times.

Very friendly host. We were met at the train station and taken to the property. There was graffiti on the street and I did 't feel safe initially but it was fine during the 4 nights that we stayed. It's very close to the station and other attractions. We walked everywhere from the apartment, even to the Vatican. It was nice to walk everywhere as you could see many marvellous building, palaza, fountains etc..
The flat is very clean & spacious. There is an old lift to the 4th floor, where the flat is at.
This little hotel is in a fantastic location for the Vatican museums. Restaurants and eateries are plentiful in the area. We stayed in the penthouse which had a hot tub that is lovely to relax in after a day’s walking. The hotel was very accommodating allowing us an early check in and looked after bags while we explored Rome. Very comfortable bed, sheets were clean, and pillows comfortable- so we got great sleep and were well rested for the next day.
Our family had a wonderful stay in October at this perfectly located apartment! Being within walking distance of the Vatican City made exploring easy, and having a subway station right across the street allowed us to reach all of Rome's sights effortlessly. The setup with 4 bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, was ideal for our family—giving everyone the space and privacy we needed. This apartment was a fantastic choice for a comfortable and memorable family trip to Rome!
Rosi, the owner, was outstanding. Arranged a limo and helped when we were delayed at the airport for 90 minutes to keep the limo man, Roberto (also a gem), waiting for us. She helped in many other ways. I thank her deeply. The position of our stay was excellent, close to the Vatican Museum, good bus route, close to Metro stations. We liked the character of our apartment and it felt like Rome should feel.
We had a wonderful stay at this apartment near the Vatican in Rome, close to the Ottaviano metro station. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with an equipped kitchen, a spacious bathroom, an extra WC with a sink, a washing machine, and an iron. It made exploring Rome easy and allowed us to feel like true Romans for a week! The warm welcome, helpful information, and assistance from Ilaria were invaluable.
Fantastic location for St Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican museum. Great restaurants nearby. Our room was spotless and spacious and I loved the feeling that we were staying in an apartment not a hotel room.
I had an amazing stay at this charming apartment! It's brand-new, safe, and perfectly located within walking distance of the Vatican. The apartment had everything I needed to feel right at home—coffee for those early mornings, a hair dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, and dishes. The decor was stunning, with a beautiful wall of classic wallpaper that added such a lovely touch to the room. You can tell there's been real care and thought put into every detail. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Rome!
We enjoyed the location and the close proximity to the sights of Rome. The apartment is very close to the Vatican city and the river, and there are multiple good restaurants nearby
Everything was perfect ! From the location (Train station, the Vatican are really close), the apartment (clean, quiet, comfortable, safe) to the kind and friendly owners. The type of place I'd book again if I ever come back to Rome. :D

check out the hotels for your ideal location, you get very good value for money from smaller hotels/ bed and breakfast/ guest houses etc. Use the hop on hop off buses, buy tickets to the main tourist attractions in advance, unless you like to wait in line a lot! Vatican is manic, I went in March and it was starting to get busy, I can imagine it would be very hot and uncomfortable in the height of the season.

If you take the time to go through the streets north of the Vatican you can find many small stores where the locals shop. As well as the popular brands and designer labels these streets are full of market stalls with lots of bargains and lovely small deli's and cafes that sell many wonderful local goodies. Great restaurants in this area too, well worth spending a few hours of the day finding a treasure or two.

Get a 48-hour pass on one of the "hop on, hop off"...
Get a 48-hour pass on one of the "hop on, hop off" sightseeing bus services. Many of them also offer "skip the line" tickets for certain sights. These tickets are worth every cent. There are tourists waiting in long lines everywhere, which will waste a lot of your time and energy. Rome is an intense tourist destination with much to see. Plan well, do research and be prepared to spend extra on special services. You will need at least 5 days to a week to truly see most of the major landmarks. Just the Vatican Museum offers so much that you could easily spend 3 days inside and still not truly see most of it.

As it's Rome there will always be tourists everywhere but DO NOT go with any tour group guaranteeing to skip lines, the queues are never as bad as they look. We were told a "5 hour queue for Vatican and the Sistine chapel" but if we joined a tour we can go straight in...for a €50 fee. We opted out and queued and were in and out of the Vatican, Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel within 2.5 hours all for a quarter of the price (student and EU citizen discounts). The same goes for the colosseum. Go at your own pace and avoid the scammers. The hotel had basic tourist maps which were perfect and we easily found our way. But we did find there were always less people between 12-1 as they had gone to find food by then.

The Colisseum and the Vatican are probably the main attractions, but there are dozens of monuments, museums, gallaries, fountains and churches that all offer a piece of ancient or modern history. Even the roads and walls and buildings seem to tell a story about one of the most preserved ancient cities in the world.
