The property was wonderful. We truly loved our room. The furniture represented the medieval town perfectly. We loved the windows over looking town center.

The view and the location! The breakfast was another level.
Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, Hotel Le Colline is set amid the Tuscan countryside, 0.6 mi from San Gimignano’s historic center. It offers rustic-style rooms with free Wi-Fi.
Spacious room, good breakfast, great swimming pool. Staff was great.
Set along the old Via Francigena road, Villa Ducci is located in a panoramic position with magnificent views over the medieval town San Gimignano, less than 1.2 mi from its city center.
Beautiful location and the rooms were of good quality.
San Gimignano, with the Italian sun glistening intently on its 14 remaining towers, cuts a dramatic figure from its position high on a Tuscan hill overlooking vineyards. However, it is when you get up-close-and-personal with this medieval-walled city and crane your neck to the blue sky that you truly appreciate its mesmerising beauty.
If you take away the swarming summer tourists circling the piazzas of San Gimignano, then this city offers you a wonderful trip back in time. The main square, Piazza della Cisterna, is surrounded by Romanesque buildings and Piazza del Duomo features Torre Grossa, the city’s tallest tower.
San Gimignano, originally an Entruscan village, was part of the ancient pilgrim route Via Francigena joining France to Rome. Its name was derived from the Bishop of Modena and is well known today as the Town of Fine Towers.
The 12th-century Collegiate Church of San Gimignano is a worth a visit with its wonderful collection of frescoes, and it also includes the Religious Art Museum.
Whether it is sitting on a restaurant terrace sipping some local Vernaccia wine or attending the lively Thursday Market, Booking.com has a range of San Gimignano hotels, guest houses and apartments for your stay. And just out of the city are options such as farm stays and country houses in the Tuscan countryside.
VERY popular with tourists, and well-deserved! You can easily chew up a solid day trying to cover all the interesting sights. There's no shortage of expected tourist shops along the clean quaint walks with buildings towering either side. A pleasant add is all the good quality clothing, food/drinks stops and art stores, as well. My wife could not decide on two light summer dresses, but were reasonably enough priced I got her both. And then quite nice sandals at another shop. And surprisingly inexpensive very good wines of the region's bespoke grapes. Definitely get the full tour ticket when doing the Tower Grosso climb and Collegiata cathedral tour. There's 5 attractions total included, and DO NOT MISS the contemporary art, medieval medicinal glass & glazedware works, and performing artists photo portraits exhibition all together at Museo Etrusco at the outskirts of the area. It's hidden gem, and conveniently on the way to the lower carpark. Car parking is a bear, and you must get there even before mid morning.

The stay was way too short, wish could have lasted longer, the room with the balcony view was a pleasant surprise, fantastic panorama couldn't ask for more, the breakfast had a lot of variety to suit everyone's choice . The staff are very helpful and friendly , a special mention for the lady who cleans the rooms, not easy but she did the work with care and a smile on her face , would recommend to anyone who has the chance to visit😊

It was wonderfully located for our other side trips to Florence, Siena, and Chianti.
There was a lovely art store and shop for kitchen aprons, linens and oven mitts which can be custom embroidered where we made purchases.
And an interesting paper museum all within a short walk of each other.

Gorgeous little town, amazing food and really nice to walk around. It is clearly designed for tourists which has both positives and negatives. There is clear signage everywhere and the parking facilities are excellent (and cheap!) However it does get really crowded in the afternoon as there are a lot of tours in big groups walking around so would advise going early morning or evening. The evening time was great, very few tourists around and lots of nice restaurants and gelaterie to get dinner/ice cream.

A trip to Tuscany must include San Gimignano!
A trip to Tuscany must include San Gimignano! Highly recommend for its medieval charm, spectacular views and delicious food. It really feels like stepping back in time. It’s not public transport accessible and if you have limited time, hiring a car is the best way to go. Ample public parking is available as well.
We visited around late October so it wasn’t too busy compared to summer time and the weather was perfectly warm during the day and mild around dinner time. Light jacket only. It’s a photographer’s delight as there’s always a scenic opportunity as we turn a corner.
From SG we drove to Siena, another stunning city close by and not to miss! For lunch we were lucky enough to stumble upon a small multi-Routard recommended resto and it seriously did not disappoint. It’s called Osteria Nonna Gina di Lella e Dado. Some of the best pasta we’ve had in Emilia Romagna is here.
Also don’t miss the gelato at Gelateria Dondoli, they’ve won multiple awards and offer unique gelato flavours you really have to try.

If you’re in Tuscany, you have to visit San Giminiano.
If you’re in Tuscany, you have to visit San Giminiano. The city centre has a very special architecture and a lot of small shops and wineries. It’s the perfect place to spend a few days with your spouse. We had a wine tasting at Marronaia Winery, close to the city and we enjoyed it, but next time I would also try another winery, like Tenuta Torciano, which we tried a few months earlier. We ate a fantastic meal at ristorante Fuoriluogo, which I recommend strongly. I recommend staying as close as possible to the city, it’s a nice feeling that you can walk while admiring the sights.
Having travelled through Italy many times before, we have noted this as our best holiday for many years. Leandro and his whole family were excellent friendly hosts who made our stay very comfortable. Although they do not live on site they were always available by Whatsapp contact. The pool was cleaned daily and the whole site was perfectly maintained. The local area is excellent for visiting vineyards, historic hill top towns and cities. A great place to stay and we will go back as soon as we can. Thank you Leandro and family.
The vila is very private oriented on a marvelous estate surrounded by olive trees and yet, within a walking distance of the city of San Gimignano. Of course, there is a little of climbing to do, but that's very normal in this area.
The kind owners live nearby and maintain the swimming pool and garden. Also, in case of advise, they are not far away, but on a safe distance to respect your privacy.
The villa is very well equipped with all the luxury you need in order to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Located in a very small, quit town near San Gimignano. Not a touristy area. Great to get away from crowds. There is a local bus that stops right outside of the hotel if you need to take pubic transit. Quiet and small hotel. Clean, quaint, and upscale for a very reasonable price. The best part was being able to go to the family's winery on the other side of town and do a tasting of many wines from the area. The family was so hospitable, kind, and took pride and care in their business.
Beautiful agriturismo (more 4* material than 3), unbeatable and gorgeous views from garden, pool and restaurant areas, wonderful and accomodating staff and delicious food and wines! We recommend booking the winetasting with tour of the cellars:) Breakfast was the best we have seen in Italy (so many choices and delicious food) and the room was beautiful, modern and very clean. Location close to San Gimignano and Volterra (must sees)!
ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED WITH THIS PROPERTY. The property is mindblowingly gorgeous, our apartment atmospheric, and our hosts Umberto and Federica so extremely kind – we had a big group and they were more than accommodating. We highly recommend booking a dinner here, too, as it was a true highlight of our entire time in Italy. It physically pained us to leave this special place – 100/10 experience.
Host was so welcoming and the views from the Villa were unbelievable. Best breakfasts that we had in our three weeks in Italy and Roberto provided picnic baskets for day trips. Great looking pool, but too cool so early in the season. Great location near many hilltowns and restaurants, but so private and quiet in the nights and mornings. Will highly recommend Roberto's villa to friends.
Everything was perfect, San Gimignano is only 10mins away.
Ms Chiara was very, very helpful and kind to us. She gave us recomendations for restaurants, wine tasting,... Since our arrival was very late, she staied with me in contact on Whatsapp, gave me all directions, how to come to the hotel and also till the appartament. Appartament was clean, very warm and comfortable.
Outstanding in all respects, food, location, staff, view, amenities and attention to detail. Would give a higher rating is we could. Best place we have stayed and food eaten during travel through France and Italy. Beautiful view of San Gimignano from dinner on the terrace, beautiful food every night and morning and the care of each staff member were highlights.
Roberto, the host was extremely hospitalble and pleasant. He gave us good dinner recommendation based on our interest and the breakfast basket was delicious and plenty. The view from our room and the home in general was spectacular. Lyla, the cute dog was a bonus- so sweet and well behaved! This was the best part of our stay in Italy
The location is the best thing about the hotel. Being near a local bus stop is very useful for accessing San Gimignano plus the distance is also walkable. The views from the garden and the pool (which is lovely) are superb. Whilst situate on a main road, this is largely hidden, making the pool and garden areas a nice place to relax.
Everything! Picturesque property with the nicest staff and unbelievable food. Pedro and Diego have created something special in the hills just outside San Gimignano. Our stay here was easily the best part of our 2 weeks in Italy, topped off by a cooking class with Andrea on the terrace. It was a truly magical experience.
Everything! The people are amazing there, you are feeling like a family member from the arrival until you are leaving. This was the perfect stay in Italy, amazing views from the room, from the terrace (where we got wonderful breakfast and dinner) and from the pool. We really hope to return some day soon! Grazie Mille!!!!
We have been in Italy for about 2 weeks and this is the best property we have stayed at since coming. The property is beautiful, the service was exceptional and the wine is excellent. We ordered a case to be shipped to our home. If you are ever in the Florence area, staying here is a must.,
The best lookation in San Gimignano and an exceptional boutique hotel with breathtaking views from the room and the breakfast area. The staff was super nice and helpful and the room was very well. The dacore all over the hotel add the extra mile to the experience
The owners are the most friendly people we've met in whole Italy and the room was very big, nice, clean and the view from the apartment was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was delicous and better than in most hotels. We would reccomend it to everyone.
The location was excellent, and Manfredi was a perfect host. His two cats were an added treat, as we are cat people. The breakfast was the best we had during our stay in Italy.
Look and feel of the B&B building that shared facilities with the neighboring hotel.
Gorgeous location surrounded by vineyards and a peek-a-boo sighting of San Gimignano.
just outside of San Gimignano...very charming hotel / b&b sorround by rolling hills and beautiful landscape. .breakfast was awesome and the room was very comfortable.
