Fantastic position, central to wherever you needed to get too. Hotel itself was very ornate and beautifully decorated in the rooms as well. It has its own Water Taxi dock, which makes all the difference getting to the Hotel. The staff were attentive but not over the top which is exactly the way we like it. We had a Deluxe Double Room, the size was great plenty of room. All round a great Hotel to stay in.
Ruzzini Palace Hotel is set in Campo Santa Maria Formosa, one of Venice's largest and oldest squares. This historic building has beautiful décor and is 10 minutes' walk from Rialto.

Superb in all aspects: quiet less busy location but close to walk to St Mark’s. Staff so helpful, friendly and attentive without being intrusive; anything we asked for they sorted immediately including transfer to the airport collected at the hotel entrance.
The junior suite overlooking the canal and standing on the balcony was just perfect. Clean with lovely bathroom and copious hot water. One of the best stays we’ve had. Highly recommend staying in this ‘Palace’ hotel.

Murano Island
A quick vaporetto ride whisks you from central Venice to laid-back Murano, the glass-blowing capital of the world. An archipelago of seven tiny islands connected by bridges, Murano is just a mile across and best explored on foot. Its maze of narrow streets and canals inspire dreamy wandering, with ancient churches and medieval glassworks hidden around every corner.

The hotel is in a converted Glass factory. Several operating glass factories on the Island of Murano, lots of shops selling glass. After a day on the main island of Venice it was very calm. The staff were really helpful especially Claudia.Rooms facing the lagoon. The bar and barmen were amusing and competent. The room fragrance gift after the alarm went off and we were locked out of our rooms after evacuating.
Comfortable unit with modern appliances and electric skylights etc. Well equipped with most things needed for a 4 day stay. Very close to terminal to access boats to Venice and surrounding Islands ( Burano etc ). This is a beautiful apartment to stay in with most mod cons, great to see the glass works on the island and walk easily around the streets and canals of Murano
Location is perfect, just 2 minutes from the Murano Pier, and 3 minutes from the Central Canal of Murano. There are coffee provisions in the room. Beds are comfortable and the room is spacious and clean. Hotel staff is very friendly. Breakfast is good. Very good quality-to-price ratio.
Very clean rooms and confy bed. The hotel is located along a quiet canal with restaurants and bars close by. Murano is a great location to stay in for a weekend in Venice allowing you to avoid the touristic caos. The vaporetto to Venice (15-20 min boat ride) stops is a 5 min walk from the hotel. Very friendly staff!
This apartment is the best I've encountered during my travels. It's conveniently located in central Murano, just a minute's walk from the water bus stop.
The thoughtful welcome gifts from the host were a delightful surprise after our long journey. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed for our trip.
I wholeheartedly recommend booking this hidden gem; it's a surprise that it's not fully booked already.
The location on the island of Murano was fabulous. The island is peaceful and beautiful - away from the crowds of Venice but easily accessible by water bus. The apartment is clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was great to have a kitchen and a washing machine. We loved staying there and would happily stay again in the future.
Fantastic warm welcome, arrived to be presented with nice cold beer and wine while the transport to and from Murano and the local restaurants locations were explained by an excellent English speaker. The property is at a secluded location very close to the Vaporetto stop making access easy. We were able to leave our bags at the hotel post check out which enabled us to go exploring unencumbered, it felt like nothing would be too much trouble.
Spacious and comfortable apartment in an ideal location close to the water bus at Murano Colonna.
Murano is busy during the day (with day trippers) and very quiet in the evening which was ideal for us.
We were met by the owner/host who offered useful advice on Venice and local information.
