Beautiful mountain town. Easy access to ski area. We were there in an off time, the week after Easter(early April) therefore many shops/restaurants were closed. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, exactly what we needed. Easy to walk everywhere.

Chiesa is a small Italian town situated at the head of a valley, set on a hillside. few shops and restaurants. Around 2 hours drive from Bergamo.
Short drive to main lift. Walkable depending on where you are staying. Virtually no night life, great for families and couples wanting a quite weeks skiing or walking.
Our 5th time here skiing. Good snow conditions on every trip we've done. Our 'go to' quick ski trip resort. Small snow park, ideal for learning jumps, rails and grinds. Limited off piste options.
There are plenty of summer/winter walking options, as well as plentiful refuges for those wanting overnight adventures.
There is a cross country track around the frozen lake at the top and plentiful XC tracks around the mountains for more experienced Xc skiers and walkers.
Queues ok, but definitely increasing in the years we have been coming here.
Sondrio at the bottom of the valley offers more facilities and a larger supermarket if you need one, also Decathlon and McDonalds.
Resort great for beginners, enough challenging terrain for more experienced skiers/boarders with three black runs.
Mountain food is good value, not over priced and plentiful.
Experienced skiers and boarders may get a little bored after a week on these slopes, but otherwise great for families, those new to snow sports, or like us wanting a few days away.

Nice location, scenic view, and friendly staff. Too many refined carbs (~10 types of cookies, pies; juice, cornflakes, jams) at the breakfast and too few protein products (goat cheese is fantastic), and no veggies. I really appreciated the eggs at the breakfast which is rare in Italy. I don't eat pastry and other typical Italian breakfast food which is a problem for me in Italian hotels so omelet saved me. I would recommend adding some vegetables and greens. Anyway, I was ready for this in Italy and took the food I eat with me.
Family-run hotel, well managed and in good conditions, recently renovated. Great location, too: lots of tracks and bike routes just at the steps of the hotel, which is at the end of the village, among pines and close to a nice stream of water. The restaurant serves tasty, typical Valtellina's and Italian food too, so if you're not planning to go around in the evening, I'd suggest booking the half board at your arrival for a very reasonable fee.
Location excellent, ski bus and rental company next door, bar and few restaurants right next to you. Spa facilities were great but surprisingly you have to pay an extra 20 euros per person per each time you use them which is very steep considering you're already paying full price for the hotel and the twenty euros doesn't even cover you for your whole stay. Good ski keeping facilities at the hotel and free parking. Helpful staff
Everything was simply perfect! The rooms were beautiful exceptionally clean! The entire hotel is a combination of old family ski lodge with modern chic. Cozy, warm and very welcoming. The food and service was outstanding. The Lenatti family is wonderful… they made us feel so welcome and cared for as though we had been there many times. This is a must stay! We look forward to returning!!
Very cosy hotel. We had a room perfect for the morning sun. Cosy sitting area in the lobby and good restaurant with helpful waiters. Delicious breakast included. Small spa with sauna, steambath and a hot tub.
The apartment is really nice and fully equipped. The location is right in the centre of Chiesa in Valmalenco and really close to the ski slopes. Kitchen is fully equipped. There is a place to park the car.
