We stayed at Hotel Gallia for a base for cycling in the area. A garage for storage of bicycles was provided so we didn't have to haul them up to the room. The hotel is right alongside the Stelvio pass road, but the windows and wall provided sufficient sound deadening and it wasn't an issue. The hotel provided excellent breakfast and dinners, a nice perk for this remote location.
Featuring a restaurant and free spa with hot tub, Turkish bath and sauna, family-run Gasthof zur Sonne lies in Stelvio, part of the namesake national park.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but this hotel deserves all the positives I can give it. In retrospect, we wish we had scheduled to stay more than one night. The property and rooms are exceptionally clean and look almost new. The five course dinner (which we didn't know about until we arrived) is phenomenal. So is the breakfast. Conveniently situated on the east side of the Stelvio Pass and is perfect for exploring and hiking. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Located in Trafoi, 8.4 miles from Ortler, Hotel Ortles B&B provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. The accommodation has a sauna, free WiFi and family rooms.
The Madatsch is in Trafoi, surrounded by the Stelvio National Park and right in the Trafoi Ski Area.

Great, hiking right from the property. Views from the room were fantastic.  room was large and the bed was very comfortable and so we’re the pillows Views from the breakfast and dinner area were also very nice. The pool was refreshing. The food was great. A lot of breakfast choices and you can even order eggs and cappuccino.
