This friendly hotel has lovely views over the sea and estuary and offers good-value food. It is a good base for visits to Waterford, Cashel, Cork City and Cobh.

Absolutely stunning apartment. Great character and so unique. Great host and gave fantastic advice of things to not miss seeing in the area. Next time we’ll make sure it is a week long stay
Youghal is located at a river estuary. It has a history - we stayed at the Sir Walter Raleigh hotel - and a number of historic buildings in town and on the water front. We stayed overnight. I had a long, interesting, exploratory trip along the boardwalk along a wide, blue flag beach. It’s a destination for family holidays, it’s well worth a stop on a trip along the south coast of Ireland.
Fabulous unspoilt seaside resort. Charming friendly people. Magnificent sunsets & beaches galore. Easy walking around town and along the promenade/strand. Bertie’s pub for great Guinness & atmosphere even on rainy afternoon.
Clancy’s for great food & service.

I love Youghal.
I love Youghal. I have been visiting and sometimes staying there for years. For a seaside resort I find it very peaceful. Plenty of places to eat and everyone has been very friendly. Clancy's is probably my most favourite bat/restaurant. Good value for money.

Youghal was a lovely town with lots of independent shops, cafes and pubs. Signs indicate that a parking disk is required but the Tourist Board told us when we were there that parking was free everywhere. Would be sensible to check if this is still the case.

Youghal is a lovely friendly seaside town.
Youghal is a lovely friendly seaside town. The newly extended boardwalk makes for a scenic walk. There is a long beach with some great views all year long. Had breakfast in a little cafe named 'Sage'. Had a full Irish breakfast for €10. I could not recommend this cafe more.

Youghal is a busy town, lots of shops and places to eat.lovely to walk around and sit looking out at the sea. Was sad to see that a no. of shops are closing down, obviously the result of COVID 19. Smashing little cinema there too.
The breakfast was good. Staff was possibly stretched thin. But once they realized we had not been taken care of they brought us coffee. They could have checked back with us. We got what we needed eventually.
I own a tour company and wanted to decide if I would use Walter Raleigh Hotel for my groups. I do only 16 people max. 8 to 10 rooms would be required at the most. So I did a little FAM trip this time to Ireland. I am very impressed with this hotel!
Thank you!

Great hotel at an affordable price including breakfast in the town center. The unique atmosphere of a 270-year-old building. Extremely nice owners create a friendly atmosphere. Delicious organic breakfast. The owner has a healthy certificate nutrition excellent cook. Everything is done with taste, attention to detail, relaxing music at breakfast. I've never been so well received before, after we left the owner called me to say thank you for the stay :) high recommendation
Beautiful house, very clean and well maintained, very comfortable beds and beautiful views. Absolutely brilliant location as its halfway from Dungarvan and Cork/Kinsale. Best place to stay for a few days to get to know the best places in Cork or just to chill out and unwind.
Great indications to access the property and getting the key from the lock at the door was extremely straight forward and a great idea for these type of properties.
Absolutely loved our stay at this property, the hosts were so lovely and Friendly and very welcoming I would 100% stay at here again. The apartment was stunning with beautiful views of the beach the location was excellent with it only being a 10 minute walk into the town and with a stunning bar and restaurant across the street. I would highly recommend this property to friends and families and anyone interested in staying in youghal.
Devon House is a beautifully restored Georgian property with chic decor. It had all the charm and facilities offered by a boutique hotel. It was spotless and the breakfast was superb-excellent quality and an abundance of choice. Location was in central Youghal close to everything. Lucy (the owner) offers a warm welcome, great local information and is a lovely host!
Warm welcome, ample space for parking, the room/bathroom was spacious and very clean. There was a TV with Netflix in the room which was a nice bonus. The breakfast was honestly really good, very tasty food/coffee, we even had homemade muffins ! The location was perfect for us as we were here for an event in Youghal (5min by car). I highly recommend it !
Avonmore House is ideally located in the centre of Youghal. Owners John and Mary were exceptional hosts. Their attention to detail and knowledge of the local area was brilliant. Our room was clean and comfortable and was a good size. Breakfast was just lovely, all cooked fresh by John.
The host was extremely cordial and kind, and helped my wife who got ill during the trip. The breakfast was excellent! The property is a short enough distance from Youghal to be convenient, but tucked away enough that it is in a nice, non-busy area.
We loved our stay in this beautiful B & B, Barbara & Peter were such wonderful host & gave us good tips of places to see in the area. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. I would highly recommend this B & B if staying in Youghal.
Room was lovely - updated, spacious, an ensuite and comfortable bed. There was a menu available for breakfast, the options were varied and plentiful. We had a wonderful meal. We appreciated the view and the parking.
Good central location (Youghal is quite a long town). Large and comfortable room. Lovely facilities (Fridge with cheeses, meats, milk, orange juice etc) fruit and breads and tea/coffee facilities.
Nice spacious room in a peaceful location. We booked last minute, the hosts were super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was brought to the room in the morning and beautifully presented.
Location was good as it was near Youghal for the Ironman. Breakfast wasnt included but the host did leave some porridge and teas for us. The beds were good and the room itself was big.
The staff were excellent at all times, the food was superb. We were extremely well looked after.
Highly recommend this wonderful hotel and restaurant.
