The breakfast service didn't start until 08:00, and I had to start work at 08:00. I was able to have a continental breakfast which was ready for me each morning - this was specially arranged

In the centre of Thurles town, the 18th-century Hayes Hotel offers an on-site restaurant and coffee bar, as well as a nightclub on weekends, with live music and entertainment.
Booked a room overnight while heading to Thurles racecourse. Check in isn’t usually available until 3pm however I was pleasantly surprised when they had my room ready for me at half 11 which was a nice unexpected bonus. Room was clean and tidy and the smart tv was very good. Drink in the bar was reasonably priced and the Irish coffee I’d ordered was excellent!
