It was a large and lovely decorated flat. It had all the perks to make it comfortable and a home-away-from-home feel. There was everything we needed and wanted in the kitchen for quick meals. The hosts provided lots of food (e.g. fruit, pastries, cereal, bread) and condiments (e.g. jam, butter) to make breakfasts and snacks very easy. The bed was big and comfortable affording us good nights' rest. The location was quite good as well, taking about a ten-minute walk to the English Market in town.

Very good location to explore the city. Our room was on the top floor and had a lovely view of the Shandon Tower. It was warm and comfy, and there was plenty of hot water. We went to a bar and a cafe nearby, and were able to walk to all the places we wanted to visit. Picked up a walking map leaflet on reception, and took in the riverside, Fitzgerald Park, a Craft Fair at the University, brunch at The English Market and The Crawford Gallery- all good places to see.

The hotel location is on the waterfront. Behind the hotel is a laneway with good restaurant options. Big bonus was being walking distance to the English Market.
