The hotel is located in the countryside, a short distance outside Castlebar. The grounds surrounding the hotel are vast so it is a very peaceful and tranquil spot. I had a lovely room looking out onto the grounds. It was very spacious, comfortable and quiet. I was there for three days and had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant each day. The restaurant has been recently renovated and it is now a very comfortable dining space. Overall, the food quality is very good. The staff throughout the property were very professional, attentive and friendly.

The staff is so kind and helpfull with any question or issue, I thank Amy who allow me to use cable and adaptor for my cellphone two nights. Legend's bar has a wide variety of food options and delicious so you can eat there more than 1 time. Rooms are comfortable and hot water falls quickly. Normal and sparkling water is complimentary. It's a very nice place to stay!!!
