On arrival we decided to upgrade our room, we wanted a view of The Diamond. This was accommodated with the minimum of fuss. The room was spacious and comfortable in a home-from-home kind of way. We loved the family-run feel about the place, the staff were warm and helpful, the bar/dining area had a buzz of activity. The food was excellent in this hotel, with plenty of choice to suit my vegatarian diet. One meal in particular, a green puy lentil dahl with rice and coconut yoghurt, was the most delicious meal I have eaten in a long time. Prices are reasonable, food is served fresh and hot. Delicous cooked breakfasts too, served in the enclosed Courtyard area.

We really enjoyed our stay, the meals for breakfast and evening meal were delicious. Our room was very clean and the staff were very welcoming and friendly making our stay a very pleasant experience. The location was convenient for travelling around the local walkways.
