There were only two weak spots - one was the Sunday brunch ( service was great, food was pre-cooked and lukewarm ) the only other small thing was a lack of a fan in the room. I know that air conditioning is not really necessary in Ireland but the room got quite warm at night even with the windows open

The lakeside is in a gorgeous location , the gardens were kept meticulously and so pretty .The breakfast was the best we’ve had in any hotel , 5 of us stayed , with all different tastes and it catered for everyone. The evening meal was good.

It was amazing from start to finish we were arriving late Bernie our host was so understandable it was no problem as we were new the aera she went and guide us to the house she left light on the room where we were going to be staying in on in the age where do you get services like that on the morning for breakfast beanie was on hand if you needed it the whole place from the to breakfast to the bedroom s was 5 stars the was a beautiful lake nebuy walking distance I worked in the hotel business for over 20years at a 4 star hotel in kerry .. having what beanie and wille is very special it's was more then home from home the guest that were staying all lovey people it's was a most enjoyable stay thank you both from Doyle family xx
