The location was great - I walked with my luggage from the train station. I had a wonderful dinner (vegetarian) in the dining room and then took a walk down to King John's castle to explore the area. It felt very safe and it was wonderful to walk along the river. I hope to return and highly recommend this small, friendly hotel.

Emily was able to get us into our room shortly after we arrived by bus from Shannon airport and when we were physically exhausted. The room was well equipped and the king size bed was incredibly comfortable. The lower level of the Bedford had fixings for tea and coffee and extra bottles of mineral water in addition to a gym and sauna. The location is within a block of the museum and easy walking distance of King John’s Castle which should not be missed. The cafe itself had the most amazing hot chocolate. Sorry we couldn’t stay longer.
