I loved everything about my stay. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was amazing, bed was so comfortable, everything was so clean. Food was also amazing. A fantastic experience. Would highly recommend the hotel to anyone. Also very pleased with the car park! I love my car and it was great to have it secure overnight in the car park. Fantastic facility. I'll be back again.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Very clean, smelt clean when you walked in. Nice decor and although it was a room above the pub, it was not noisy. The breakfast was very good and we would recommend eating in the restaurant for an evening meal too, that was excellent. Great location; a nice walk by the harbour in to town or a longer walk to Charles Fort which is great to visit.
I loved this property. The location and views were superb. Looking over the harbour from both windows. Perfectly situated in the centre, right beside lots of restaurants, shops, pubs (but very quiet and peaceful). The lovely walk to Charles Fort and Summercove was very close, as was the harbour (just around the corner). Free parking was around the corner along the harbour walk.
The views - oh my gosh! I didn't book it for these, we were going to nearby attractions (Charles Fort, Ross Castle, Muckross Abbey). But Sandy Cove is an utter miracle in the morning... we did have amazing weather. But what a spot! Great house, very comfy, great deck, great fridge and oven and stove.

Kinsale can really only be enjoyed by foot. It is a small, charming harbor town, easy to walk around. With narrow, maze-like roads, driving around town is not recommended and unnecessary due to the compact size. There is a walk up to Charles Fort for great views, but it is a quick drive, if you are short on time.
