The room was delightful looking over a beautiful garden. We had everything you could need including peace and quiet. It was a short, scenic walk to town through Ashford Castle grounds. Delicious breakfast.
Ashford Villa is a beautiful, clean, well presented property in a fabulous location. The host was very pleasant & helpful and was kind enough to provide the making of a lovely Irish breakfast. Cong is just a short walk through the grounds of Ashford Castle. We enjoyed The Quiet Man walking tour and delicious food in Cong. Ashford Villa is a great find and we'll definitely be back. Thought the breakfast was great, beautiful location, the village is so quaint, it was our second visit, forest walk and Ashford Castle are stunning, my two 10year old children loved it.
Spacious, clean, comfortable and with everything you need and many homely touches! The owner has thought of everything. Cong village is about a 35 minute walk that can take you via the beautiful Cong woods, across the river that has the monks fishing house (and abbey nearby) and with a view to Ashford castle. We found five great bars in the small and picturesque village, live music in one, so had a very enjoyable Saturday night. Blakehill house was absolutely perfect for our short break to enjoy beautiful Cong.
Superb location and staff and facilities. As we would expect for a 4 star plus hotel. The views and grounds and walks including Ashford Castle were exceptional. The falconry experience particularly with our grand daughter was so memorable and photographic.
The location is excellent right in centre close to Ashford castle. Was in front room of hotel very comfortable and clean. Staff are very nice and helpful.breakfast good choice offered lunch menu very good. No late music to keep you awake at night.
This hotel is beautifully located in the grounds of Ashford Castle. The staff at the hotel are exceptional in every aspect nothing is to much trouble for them , our room was super comfy clean and bright .
Everything was great, the apartment was sparkling clean. Thank you Patricia and Gerard for making our stay so comfortable. We enjoyed the Ashford castle and the surroundings, this is by far one of the best places we've been to in Ireland.
