Pharae hotel exceeded my expectation. Excellent location. 50 m to the beach. Hotel has its own territory on the beach with umbrellas, beach towels at the reception. Sea at the hotel is clear and warm. You could spend all the day on the beach.
Room was very good, everything worked properly. Stuff was very polite and welcoming, help with everything. Breakfast was tasty and good. The best thing about breakfasts that it was on the roof of the hotel with excellent view on gulf.
Arround the hotel are plenty of cafes and restaurants. 15 minutes walking to the Kalamata center,
You can always find a parking space around the hotel for free
I will definately choose this hotel when next time visit Kalamata

The grounds and overall look of the property beautiful but was let down by factors such as towels not replaced when taken - particularly when we were happy to reuse - no desk telephone number provided so always a long walk to resolve issues - overall pretty ordinary and not great value.

The hotel is well located, close to Sparti and the archaeological site of Mystras, easy to find with parking on site. Although it seems to be relatively new, the decoration is somewhat poor/all fashioned. We stayed for one night and might have been the only guests around. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were also offered an upgrade to a very well sized suite, which was much appreciated. There is also a very nice good sized pool, which unfortunately closes at 7pm.

We very much enjoyed the beautiful view on the Byzantine castle from the balcony. The hotel is located at the central square. From the balcony you get a picture of Greek lifestyle. The garden is very nice. The owner of the hotel makes you feel very welcome. She is very helpful. Sparti is not far from Mystras. So if you think it is too quiet you just visit Sparti in the evening where there are a lot of activities. There are 2 museums: the archaeological museum and the modern museum of the history of olives and the production of olive oil.
The hotel was better than we had expected. The location is just by Mystras and very close to Sparta. The hotel personnel were absolutely fantastic, making us feel welcome (kudos to the hiring and training team :) ) The facilities were clean and in great condition. Fantastic breakfast and also a very nice restaurant covered all our needs. We also used the spa facilities for massage, which were also at a peak level.
The room provided all the necessary amenities and even the crib for our toddler was in mint condition.
Perfect location very close to great traditional restaurants with a view of the the surrounding mountains and Mystras. The apartment was older and therefore spacious and spotlessly clean with a large balcony. This is great value for money. We had the front apartment with three beds. Parking onsite was a bonus.
We liked absolutely everything. If I could rate it 10+, I would rate it that way. Several apartments are located on the territory of a family tavern with excellent cuisine and private parking in a quiet green area. Absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to visit Sparta and Mystras.
Fantastic room with a fantastic view (Sparta and Mystras). Great, elaborate breakfast served in our room. A couple of minutes from Mystras by car, with some restaurants at walking distance. Probably the best place we stayed during our tour of the Peloponnese. Friendly staff too, but I can't say we met unfriendly hotel staff during our tour.
This beautifully converted estate has all the hallmarks of a boutique hotel (though charges accordingly). Our spacious room had stunning views in no less than three directions, the location being exceptional and a perfect base for exploring the delights of the ancient city of Mystras.
We liked Mystras as a village and the hotel was at the heart of it. Breakfast was very good and a great choice in the evening for a meal in the restaurant. Parking was on site.
The hotel is beautifully situated right in the centre of Mystras. We first visited just after it opened several years ago and it was lovely this time to see how the trees and shrubs have grown up, making the hotel blend beautifully with the landscape. The bedrooms were very comfortable with great beds and a fabulous shower. The spa was very welcoming and the breakfast ample and tasty.
we fell in love with this apartment in the middle of the olive trees, just outside Mystras. worth spending a little more to enjoy the view from the top floor. if we could we would have stopped again. if you are looking for a bit of tranquility in the middle of nature, this is the right place for you.
