Very good location between Syntagma Square and Monastiraki Square. Easy access from airport with direct metro. Surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants, bars, roof tops, shops and walking distance from main touristic sights. The apartment is modern and newly refurbished, clean and comfortable and pet friendly. Easy check in and check out and very responsive owner. It was everything we needed for our stay in Athens and we will book it again on our next visit.
Comfy bed in very clean apartment, with large bedroom & lounge, plus fully equipped kitchen. Washing machine worked well (essential for me as I stayed 10 nights), and the balcony was a nice touch. The aircon worked well enough and it is a super convenient location - just around the corner from Athens Railway Station (which is also a Metro station), and a 20min walk from Monastiraki Square & the centre of town. Overall it was ideal for a short or long stay.

I stayed one night at Tempi hotel. Location is great, close to Acropolis, Monastiraki square and metro station to the airport. The Syntagma square was also not so far and it's very easy to reach. The room was value for money and quite clean. The house is a bit old, but good renovated.
The location was excellent, literally 5-10 minutes walk from Monastiraki square and the acropolis. There are tons of great restaurants and bars around. Almost every tourist spots are in walking distance so we barely spent money on transport. Even tho there’s busy night life in the area my room was quiet at night. Access to the hotel was very easy at any time, also the check in and check out was simple.
Even though the place is small, it has everything that you would need plus it was super clean. It is walking distance to most of the historical sites around Athens. Monastiraki Square is a short 10 minutes walk. The area is not secluded and feels safe at night as well. The host provides clear communication about how to check in and check out. Overall, it was quite satisfactory for our stay in Athens.
What I liked the most was the relationship between price and quality. I was looking for a room at a reasonable price but in the heart of Athens, and this is what I found. Also, the suite was bigger than I imagined, it is a few steps from Monastiraki Square and in front of the metro!!! :-)
The apartment was on the 6th floor with a lift. It had a few jitters bacause of age … like Johann does.
The space was huge. We had a very good view to the Acropolis.
The surrounding area was good too. Many restaurant within a few meters … really close.
Also close to Monastiraki square.
There were also some nice art and books in the apartment. As we discovered the host is an artist and sculpture.
Highly recoomended place.
