This hotel is spotless. The room was cleaned daily and I cannot count how many times the bed sheets and towels were changed. It seemed like daily and they were always arranged with care in a beautiful design. The room and bed were comfortable and met all my needs. The staff were so friendly, always with a welcome smile when I returned in the evening. And best of all it is literally a few meters from the Nea Chora beach and the waterfront restaurants up to the harbour. All in all, very good value for money, great location and a Cretan welcome that is priceless. Highly recommend!

Chania Town has a lot to offer; places of interest, history, architecture and of course great food! We eat mainly local cuisine wherever we go but somewhere in the middle of our stay, I crave pizza! We found a cute Italian Restaurant along the busy harbour - Il Pedrino. We ate fish most other days - ACHILLEAS restaurant in Nea Chora is worth a visit. A first for us this year was a trip to a Cretan vineyard. Dourakis Winery is tucked into a beautiful quaint village called Alikampos, just 30 minutes drive from Chania Town.

Chania is so beautiful.
Chania is so beautiful. Narrow streets with shops and traditional places. It is a romantic city with the old town and port making the scenery breathtaking. A lot of options of restaurants, great traditional food. The people are very hospitable and kind. I will definitely visit again.

Very picturesque (old harbour and streets off) Kept very clean with frequent rubbish collections. No itinerant street vendors. Restaurants mainly traditional greek + italian no persistent "hustling" to partake. Varied selection of shops from tourist to top end. Traffic free around harbour. Boat trips and horse and carriage tours from harbour side. Several museums to visit nearby all walkable, though the new archeological museum is a good hike along the coast. Note that the famous covered market is not functional at the time of writing (no roof) and whist it is a impressive building, not much is happening construction wise.

The town still has charm and character.
The town still has charm and character. There are lots of delicious restaurants, and if you look around it doesn’t have to be expensive.
It was beginning to get busy by mid June, too many people for me. So earlier or later would be better .
There are quite a few artists, workshops which are worth visiting. Crafts need to be kept alive .

It is very picturesque and easy to walk around.
It is very picturesque and easy to walk around. A vast selection of restaurants. They are quite pricy compared with other parts of the island like Hersonnisus where we were staying for longer. Parking overnight was also expensive - £25. However I felt that the car was safe and secure and they were very helpful at finding you a place to park. Many of the restaurants only wanted cash. A charming port and a great place to people watch and chill.

In the past couple of years Chania has become VERY crowded.
In the past couple of years Chania has become VERY crowded. I would say to avoid it completely in July and August. Along with more tourism there are more shops selling junky souvenirs not from Greece. But we persisted and found some lovely high-quality things made in Greece. We rented a car but I wouldn't bother again as it's so congested and hard to park when you return from a day trip.
We loved the restaurant Salis along the waterfront and went twice. A store called Haris Cotton sells nice quality linen clothes. The tiny folklore museum was interesting. We did a walking tour of the artisans of Chania and it was good.
This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in! it’s perfectly located in Old Town Chania right by the port, the street is lively at night but the room is completely quiet. The bed is incredibly comfortable, the room smells SO GOOD and the staff are so kind, helpful and responsive! The amenities are great and the breakfast included was the best I’ve had from a hotel. I would travel back to Chania all the way from New Zealand just to relax at Aisha Petite Suites again. 10/10
Our stay was fantastic! We are a family of 6 and we rented two rooms. We couldn’t have been more comfortable or have felt more welcome. The staff went out of their way to help us plan what to do each day including providing maps and wonderful recommendations. The hotel is clean and is exactly as described. If you are looking for a beautiful budget friendly hotel, near Chania, a short walk from the beach and near all of Western Crete’s attractions, stay here.
Amazing appartment close to the old town and the harbour, perfect for discovering western Crete. Everything except the beach is in a short walking distance and on saturdays there is a buzzing market right below the appartment. We especially loved the large balcony with a nice view. The owner was easily contactable on WhatsApp for advice and very friendly, it's a shame meeting him didn't work out. Looking forward to returning here! :)
The property is beautiful, right in the heart of the old town, in a very quiet side street. The room was clean, well maintained, well designed, just like in the pictures. The hostess, Katerina was very nice and kind and super helpful, making sure to recommend us about all the great places to visit and see. The room was cleaned every day and everything was very well taken care of. I highly recommend staying at the boutique hotel.
Everything. The place, staff, location of the apartment. The beds were amazing. We could choose the type of pillow. The staff was very nice to us. They helped us with probably everything. We wanted to get on the other side of island and the ladies from the hotel ordered us an car with super price and even they manage that the car came to us to the hotel. Really we couldn´t find a better place to stay in Crete.
The best thing about this hotel is its location, it's at the heart of the old town of Chania and within walking distance of everything you want to see and do at Chania. It's also relatively close (<10-min walk) to the main bus station, which is quite convenient in case you want to take the bus to go to the nearby beaches or attractions. The staff members were also very friendly and helpful.
The property is a short walk from the old town of Chania and the main bus station. The apartment is spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. We had everything we needed for an 8-day stay and could have easily stayed longer. The host was very friendly and communicative. One of the nicest places we have stayed at in Crete and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Chania.
The location was perfect! It is in the middle of everything. If you are planning to stay just for few days all the places like the port, new town, old town etc are a very short walkable distance for the hotel. The rooms are big and very clean with balcons viewing the city center. The breakfast is very simple and tasty with the best fresh orange juice i have ever tasted.
Our host was so wonderful! They were there for all of our questions 24/7. They booked us a tour, recommended best places to visit. They even borrowed us a parasoil :) Room was modern, new, extremely clean and well equipped. Bed was perfectly comfortable. Our stay in this hotel is one of the best experiencies in Crete, great example of Greek hospitality, I recommend it!
This is an ideal hotel for Chania town exploration, situated very close to the Chania centre. You can rent a car and explore west Crete during the day but in the evenings you will be close to the beautiful Chania city’s attractions and restaurants/tavernas. Extremely kind and friendly staff happy to give you advice and tips for hidden Crete gems/places.
Ideal location 10 mins walk to the old town. Parking on site is ideal in a town with limited areas to park. Small hotel recently refurbished with modern stylish fully equipped rooms. Like a home from home.
If I ever return to Crete I would certainly stay here again, really hit the sweet spot with this hotel/apartments
Wonderful, spacious apartment in old town Chania. Private, quiet, very comfortable. Two large bedrooms over 3 floors. Great amenities & kitchen, foods stocked for us by host. And Aphrodite, the host, was incredibly generous, helpful and available. One of the best stays I’ve ever had.
The location is great. Nikos and the family are super hosts, very friendly and professional. The hotel is super clean and the breakfast is very rich and exceptional in a very calm terasse between trees and flowers. If we go back to Crete we will book the same hotel for sure.
300m from the Bus Central Station where you can get a bus to anywhere on Crete. Huge window. 4m high ceiling. Awesome bathroom. Elevator. Very friendly stuff. In 3min you are in Chania Old Town. Very close to one of the main squares for grocery stores.
Amazing location in the old town. The bath was amazing. Stayed with a baby and 5 year old - the room was very good for kids. We stayed in winter and the flooring was lovely and warm as opposed to so many places in Crete that have cold tiles.
Friendly staff. The hotel was newly renovated. Good design and functionality. Literally the best location, if you want to be in old town. Good breakfasts, though not superb.
Simply perfect
Breakfast was the best. The hotel was in old town so you can visit the most beautiful streets in Chania just by walking. You are in the middle of everything.
