Excellent property. Easy to find and good access to Otterburn itself and Woodhill Hall wedding venue nearby. Excellent kitchen facilities with everything we could possibly need. A member of staff met us with a key as organised. It was lovely to find milk and eggs provided in the fridge. Beds were very comfortable and there was lots of hot water. All in all we had everything we could want.
The cottage is lovely and clean with plenty of supplies when you arrive- milk, tea, coffee machine and lovely fresh eggs. But we didn’t have any hot water! We had booked as we had a family wedding at Woodhill Hall, so all 4 of us having to have a cold shower was not what we expected.

Location was very nice, perfect for Woodhill hall wedding. The room was very clean. Breakfast was really nice, good selection and large servings. Staff were all great and very accommodating even allowing us to check in earlier due to wedding commitments to deposit bags. All in all a lovely experience.
Absolutely loved the rooms, layout, outside area, the up keep of the place and decor was lovely, lovely staff and amazing breakfast which is included in the price, fully recommend and would definitely stay again. We were attending a wedding a woodhill hall 3mins drive/taxi but closer wedding venues within walking distance such as the Le Petit Château
Location was amazing for the wedding we attended at Woodhill Hall. Staff were excellent. Very welcoming & also helped out with early check-in & local taxis prior to arrival. Views from the hotel were incredible. Rooms were clean, comfortable & an added bonus was Netflix! Plenty to choose from for breakfast in the morning too. Filter coffee was great.
Fab host, really helpful and friendly. Lovely large rooms that were modern and extremely well kept and very clean. Breakfast was exceptional and we couldn’t have asked for more from our stay. As a bonus our room had a gorgeous view. We were attending a wedding at Woodhill Hall which was 5 minutes drive in the car so really convenient .

The room was gorgeous both quaint and modern in equal measures . The two ladies who greeted us and served our breakfast the next morning were friendly and welcoming and looked after us perfectly.
I would definitely recommend Butterchurn Guest House and would definitely return !
