A tale of two halves.
Hotel is.right by the station entrance. The staff were lovely, warm and efficient. The room was very clean, comfortable bed with high quality bedding, well stocked, huge bath with shower. 10/10 for the room.
The new look Cumbria Park Hotel has been extensively refurbished with major improvements to our bedrooms, reception, and bar/lounge areas.

There is a lot to like about this hotel. Good parking at the rear; helpful and courteous staff; large, clean room; surprisingly excellent Cumbrian full buffet breakfast and cereal, pastries etc. A lovely surprise is a delicious house-made shortbread available in the hotel room.
