Large spacious rooms decorated in old style furnishings. Large bathroom too, clean and comfortable. Breakfast cooked to order and we had dinner the first night which was very nice. Staff friendly and helpful. The hall is right next to Nottingham racecourse a short walk to bus stop to go into city centre. Also free parking on site.

I have previously stayed at this hotel and will quite happily stay again. The actual location of the hotel is very good, right next to Nottingham Castle and is very easy to get to. The room was reasonably standard, with the main exception being there is no air conditioning. This could be an issue if staying peak summer and the temperature is high, but for when I normally visit late summer / autumn like is wasn't a problem. Room was quite large, with sufficient room for the inclusion of a sofa which was nice to use to view the TV when in the room. Bathroom was clean and tidy, actually had a proper bath installed which was a nice bonus, but obviously there was also shower fitted. If anything the bathroom was a little small, probably due to the inclusion of the bath but was perfectly acceptable for my needs. Breakfast was as expected. Usual selection of different types of breakfast food, from cereals through to full English. Restaurant area was okay, but if really busy it could seem a little crowded. No problem staying here again.

Excellent location for Trent Bridge cricket ground. Free car parking and plenty of spaces. The room was a good size, very clean and good standard, and the communal kitchen was very well equipped and very clean. Good range of places to eat nearby too.

Loved the pool area , very clean and quiet . Bedroom was clean and comfortable. I arrived on the hottest day of the year and the hotel had prepared the room for the heat by closing the blinds and fan was on. Hotel is close to river Trent , Nottingham city centre, west Bridgford and trent bridge cricket ground . I stayed as I was attending an event at the national hockey centre ( 15 min drive away) . Also good parking available.

There is secure parking for a small fee, bus stop outside for frequent services into Nottingham. A 5 min walk into the lively West Bridgford town centre and of course next to Trent Bridge cricket ground. There's a wee Co-op next door too. A very helpful manager importantly, he's always available to contact and responds quickly
