Friendly, efficient check in. Room bright, clean and spacious. Nice hot shower. Had evening meal and breakfast, both were exceptionally lovely meals. Generous portions and tasty. Traffic from main road didn't bother us at all. Big car park, easy to get to. Value for money.
This delightful, fully licensed boutique hotel is set in a Georgian house and conveniently situated in beautiful gardens half a mile from the centre of Tiverton.

Nestled on the outskirts of Tiverton, in the heart of the picturesque Devon countryside, lies the exquisite Tiverton Hotel Lounge. While the hotel may exude a slightly dated charm, do not let this deter you from experiencing its unparalleled hospitality. From the moment you step foot into the grand foyer, you will be greeted with a warm and friendly welcome by the esteemed Siu and his exceptional team, who spare no effort in ensuring your stay is nothing short of extraordinary.
During my visit, I was informed that the hotel's renowned restaurant was temporarily closed due to the arrival of two coach parties. However, this minor setback did not hinder the hotel's commitment to providing delectable cuisine. To my delight, the accommodating staff offered to serve meals in the bar area, where I indulged in a culinary journey that surpassed all expectations for a venue of this standard. The menu boasted an array of tantalizing dishes, expertly prepared using the finest ingredients, resulting in a symphony of flavors that left my taste buds dancing with delight. Furthermore, the prices were remarkably reasonable, making every bite a true feast for the senses.
As I retired to my room, I found the accommodations to be both practical and comfortable, albeit showcasing a touch of age. The mattress and pillows provided a blissful respite, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploration. However, for the warmer summer months, I would recommend the hotel consider offering thinner quilts to enhance the comfort of their esteemed guests. Despite this minor suggestion, I would not hesitate to choose the Tiverton Hotel Lounge as my preferred abode should I find myself in the area once again. Its unparalleled hospitality, coupled with its convenient location, make it an ideal choice for discerning travellers seeking a retreat amidst the captivating beauty of Devon.
