The staff was amazing and so helpful. I had all my bridal party staying at the hotel and they went above and beyond. The breakfast was amazing (continental buffet -pastries were so yummy- and a nice selection of cooked breakfast on top). The location is great (4mn walk from Canterbury West and 3mn walk from the old city/city centre). The rooms are so comfy (bath in the bathroom and beds are the comfiest I've slept in, in a while)

Room was comfy and warm. Central location was good.
The room I had was very spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was of a continental style and had many options and was very good. The location of the Pilgrims Hotel is very close to the main shopping area and near to the Marlowe Theatre and also the Cathedral.
Clean and well presented. Quant. This hotel is so central. Close to all attractions including the Cathedral, the museum, the Marlowe theatre and shops. Lovely staff.
I was in Canterbury to see a show at The Marlowe Theatre which is 2 minutes walk from hotel. The hotel is well presented throughout, with lots of extra features, safe in room, a bath in room, teatray, phone and lots of little touches as in pictures in room and decor throughout is to a high standard. All staff that I meet were friendly, professional and helpful.
Breakfast was very good . Lots of choice .
Location was very good - in the town centre - especially as I was going to the Marlowe Theatre which is opposite the hotel .
My room was small but perfectly adequate for one person . Everywhere was very clean .
Hotel is in an excellent location for events in the town. We were attending an event at The Marlowe theatre and it is literally 5 minutes away.
Hotel has a nice cocktail bar, although there is no draft beer available.
Restaurant has recently changed to a Tapas menu. We enjoyed our meal, although as we ate early there were only a couple of tables occupied.
Breakfast was excellent and having booked a B&B stay could choose anything from the menu.
Located at the centre of Canterbury, minutes away from major attractions such as Canterbury Cathedral and from Canterbury West train station. Surrounded by pubs and other eating places, and a minute away from the Marlowe Theatre. Very attractive property, with a spacious bathroom and shower. Bed very spacious and comfortable. I also liked the toiletries provided very much.
Nice "Olde Worlde" hotel in the middle of Canterbury right next to the Marlowe Theatre. Very small room, but it served its purpose. Continental buffet breakfast was fine. Obviously within easy walking distance of everything. Public car park only a 2-minute walk away.
The hotel is located within the city walls opposite the Marlowe theatre and a few minutes walk from the cathedral.
It is an old building but has been recently renovated. The bedroom was spacious and well laid out with a comfy bed.
The included continental breakfast was quite good.
Excellent central location. We prefer English breakfast so, for us, the continental breakfast was adequate. We booked two bedrooms: One double room which was large and very nice. The single bedroom was cosy and agreeable. Hotel faces the Marlowe Theatre, so there are people out in the street until about 11:00 pm, which makes it safer in the evenings.
Continental breakfast was very good with excellent choice of food available. Staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the city centre location so close to the many attractions Canterbury has to offer, and literally right opposite the Marlowe Theatre which couldn't be more convenient when seeing a show there. My second stay at the Pilgrim Hotel and will definitely be back!
