The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room seemed recently redecorated and clean, the bed was very comfortable.
I didn't get chance to make use of any of the other facilities this time, but the food was fantastic when I have stayed previously and the service is consistently great.

Large spacious rooms decorated in old style furnishings. Large bathroom too, clean and comfortable. Breakfast cooked to order and we had dinner the first night which was very nice. Staff friendly and helpful. The hall is right next to Nottingham racecourse a short walk to bus stop to go into city centre. Also free parking on site.

I have previously stayed at this hotel and will quite happily stay again. The actual location of the hotel is very good, right next to Nottingham Castle and is very easy to get to. The room was reasonably standard, with the main exception being there is no air conditioning. This could be an issue if staying peak summer and the temperature is high, but for when I normally visit late summer / autumn like is wasn't a problem. Room was quite large, with sufficient room for the inclusion of a sofa which was nice to use to view the TV when in the room. Bathroom was clean and tidy, actually had a proper bath installed which was a nice bonus, but obviously there was also shower fitted. If anything the bathroom was a little small, probably due to the inclusion of the bath but was perfectly acceptable for my needs. Breakfast was as expected. Usual selection of different types of breakfast food, from cereals through to full English. Restaurant area was okay, but if really busy it could seem a little crowded. No problem staying here again.

The location of this property for attending events at Trent Bridge or City Ground is exceptional. The check in and out process was extremely efficient. Having a code meant that we could explore independently and weren't reliant on the "key holder" for our movements. The room was well appointed.
Great location close to Trent Bridge and City Ground. stayed in Mishka room in 2nd floor, spacious, back of building. It was very hot outside but the fan provided was quiet and provided some heat relief.
