Liverpool is a lovely city, full of a mix of cultures from classic to modern. The architecture is fantastic, and the Docks area has been redeveloped in recent years so it provides information about the city's past as well as being a vibrant area for the present, with museums and a range of restaurants.

I love Liverpool, I've support Liverpool fc since I was 12, first came to visit Liverpool at the age of 15, and I've been every year since, my daughter applied to all 3 universities as she didn't want to go anywhere else, so I get to visit the lovely friendly city a few times a year now 😁

This is by far the best city break I have had in UK.
This is by far the best city break I have had in UK. So much to see and do, and everything is conveniently situated rather than being so spread out like London or Manchester. The people are friendly unlike London, and I loved all the culture, the food, the bars, and free entry into the Hot Water Comedy Club on weekdays is a gift...... Fantastic place.

Liverpool is a great city!!
Liverpool is a great city!! There is so much history and so much to discover.
It has improved so much over the past few years. There is the Liverpool One shopping centre, huge and with all types of shops, great cultural sites, very interesting museums, several theatres and concert venues, and plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars.
People are very nice and friendly, it takes hours to go from one place to the next because you stop to talk to everyone all the time.
And, of course, if you are a Beatle fan, that is the MUST-GO-TO place.
I absolutely love Liverpool, I go back every year and if I could go more often, I would. It always feels like home.

Liverpool is great, lots to explore with variety of trips offered. People are very friendly and chatty so great to meet. Good choice of restaurants and pubs, very interesting buildings. Got something for everyone's taste, esp if you are a Beatles fan.We got hop on hop off ticket, lasts 48hrs,great for getting around without rushing. We recomend the Beatles Explorer trip, fun info and all a Beatles fan could want. Spoilt for choice with places to eat but one fav was The Old Bank with live music ,lovely staff+ really good food,+good price.
Best option in Liverpool! Unforgettable experience of living within the Beatles atmosphere!
The kindness of the staff (Maria, Moe, Muhhammad) is outstanding! They provided all the support for us to have an unforgettable Christmas at this hotel. The hotel provides an immersive experience in the Beatles history, through music, posters, videos etc. The bedrooms are big and silent. The location is perfect, near the Cavern Clube, the Beatles statue, the Beatles Museum, the Beatles Story (in the docks), and a lot of good restaurants.
Jacob on Reception was very informative with a good introduction to where is best to visit whilst in Liverpool. The cost of the hotel stay was very good value. The hotel was in walking distance of the shops and Albert Docks. The beds were comfortable. The sofa bed pulls out to be 2 single beds which you have to throw sheets on to make up the bed ready to sleep and then a double bed is already made up. Our room had a kitchen with fridge, dishwasher and clothes washer machine.
For us, Hope Street Hotel remains the best city centre hotel in Liverpool. Only a 5 min walk down the hill into heart of the town centre, the hotel has that luxury vibe to it. Staff are always super helpful too. The rooms are simple, modern and high quality, Amazing beds, and the bath and shower room was superb too. We had a 4th floor room this time with great views across the city centre.
Great location to explore Liverpool's docks and city centre. A five minute walk to the Cavern Quarter, highly recommend a visit to the Cavern Club to experience The Beatles tribute band!
We ate in the Marco Pierre White restaurant in the hotel and had a lovely meal- recommend the scotch egg and fish & chips.
Hotel is in a great location for accessing Liverpool City Centre. Hotel staff were very helpful and gave us some local recommendations on places to visit. The room was comfortable and clean. Views over the docks were an added bonus.
