Our stay was fantastic from start to finish. The staff were attentive and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We stayed in the Babylon room which was absolutely gorgeous and had everything we could need for a comfortable stay.
I have to give compliments to all of the staff working there, they really did make our stay so enjoyable.

Check-in was quick and easy by welcoming staff.
We were going to a concert at the Utilita Arena , this was about a 10-15 walk
Our room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space , tea & coffee and hooks on the wall to hang your coats!! Dove soap and shampoo
Breakfast was great, such a variety, very impressed, lots of drinks, lots of food all cooked well -2 types of hash browns happy days...there was a little selection of baby food and microwave so well thought of.
On booking our room i was sent a msg with all check-in details etc including directions from the train station.... we didn't leave the station via the recommended route , we ended up leaving through a side exit directly at the top our platform stairs?!
If this happens to you.... walk up the Hill ' not to the Holiday Inn at the bottom , lol.
Once we got our bearings it would of been about a 10mins walk. The walk does include a slight hill FYI..

Hotel was excellent, not too far from station. Stayed as going to symphony hall which is just a short walk away. Breakfast was also excellent, plenty of choices to select from, staff helpful and friendly. Would stay here again
The Macdonald Burlington Hotel is ideally placed. Right outside Birmingham New Street Station, ideal for the Bullring and all shopping and entertainment (Town Hall, Symphony Hall, The Rep, Hippodrome, ect.) Close to restaurants, pubs the Gay village, Jewellery Quarter. The hotel is comfortable, rooms clean, comfortable bed, tea making facilities, friendly staff and excellent breakfast choice. They even stored our luggage on arrival and departure to allow time without having to carryout luggage around. Recommend!
