property did not meet same standards as previous stays . No minibar in room , no laundry service and reduce standard all round . Very surprised and disappointed as stayed here annually for 14 years - standards and approach seems not to be boutique hotel anymore

Was annoyed that breakfast wasn’t included and further annoyed you had the cheek to charge a service charge if I had noticed when I paid I would of refused to pay the service charge ruined a good stay

Super room, great bathroom, helpful staff, fantastic location.
With a leisure center and stylish restaurant, Novotel Reading Center is just 2 minutes’ walk from Reading Railway Station. The modern hotel has a 24-hour front desk and a cozy lounge bar.
Rooms were comfortable, and the facilities were great.
