Perfect place to stay in Edinburgh. You can see the castle from the hotel but you're far enough away to not get caught in all the touristy hustle and bustle. We loved the location. Breakfast was a la carte and really fantastic - best breakfast we had during our whole trip!
We also visited the steak restaurant located in the hotel and I can tell you, it deserves it's reputation as one of the best steak restaurants in all of Edinburgh. If you're looking to try some amazing local steaks, then it's the place to go.
Pricing was a little on the higher end but we were satisfied with all the services and amenities available.
Overall, we would 100% return and stay here again!
Located on Princes Street, The Balmoral has a 4 AA Rosette restaurant, a pool and a gym. Waverley Station and Edinburgh's main shopping area are within 5 minutes' walk.
